  2. Ooooh Rowan, that stings a bit! First a flaming about my dumb SSR's comment, as if I have any clue, and now I disgust you???? Harsh much mr Man... (cries quietly into a pink lace hanky) Bwahahahahaha!!!! AS IF!!!!! Tough Cookie can take all you've got! And everyone loves me! (ego MUCHHHHH!!!) Good to see someone else up cruisin the forums at 3am....
  3. Haha, thanks Rown, like I said, still learning and a few of the forums gave SSr's an absolute flaming so I assumed I had dodgy quality... Though I must say they held up well to smackig a kerb at 80kph.... Like I said, still learning, and have amended my previous "cheap" statement, lol... I like them anyway, real jap looking, white under black... Looks hot and def turns heads.

  4. Just an FYI, this car is currently financed under a secured loan, so how it works is as follows: We rock up to Westpac, you with cashiers cheque/cash in hand. Payment used to clear the loan I take some change You take the keys and the car Westpac will take 48hrs to release security on the vehicle, at which point a REVs check will show a clear title and you will be able to transfer the rego into your own name. I would prefer to do this in person with the buyer, at the bank, as I will know the payment is clear, and you will have the car and know I am not going to run off with the money leaving you $19,500 short with a car you cannot transfer into your own name. Of course if you do not wish to attend the bank that is up to you, I just feel it gives us both peace of mind. Please note if you wish to pay by personal cheque I will be keeping the keys and the car until the payment clears and the loan is closed.

  6. Just awesome Rowan... So spot on.... I had one of those moments where my (sweet, elderly) grandmother said "but what's wrong with your car?!?" (2007 Ford Focus 28,000K's on the clock, had for less than 2yrs, reliable, safe, great on fuel, and selling up to fund my Skyline!) and I just couldn't explain it to her.... Best I could do was "because I really wanted one" which sounded feeble and pathetic and really didn't do justice to how I feel for that car.... It's crazy, and so right... That car is gonna break my heart and my bank in so many ways it's not funny, and all I can do is love it more...
  7. Haha! I wish! I would have to be a SUPERMODEL to be able to afford that car... My 33 may yet ruin me financially... (BIG shopping list!) Gotta hurry up and sell my Focus.... Nah, I was just lucky enough to drive it, my last job was at a Valet place, so I got to drive lots of nice stuff, but the R35 took the prize for the best... Nowhere near the most expensive, but most certainly the best. But honestly, with all it's little imperfections and glitches and stuff... (passenger power window controls don't work from drivers side, have to lean over, stalls out if I am not mindful of the revs, [auto....], dies in the ass and has to be jump started if I leave the stereo on without the motor running, suspension so hard my teeth nearly rattle out on bumps....) I am happier in my 33 than anything I have ever owned or driven.... Like I said... Damn I love that car..... Mr Eps' article (below) sums it up perfectly... The love we have for our Jap cars....
  8. But i'm sure they were referring to the car.......
  9. The day it was collected.... First publicly sold GTR in Australia... If you believe the guy who dropped it off to us.... And yes I did park it that good, lolololol....
  10. FTW indeed.... Just one of many tartans in the collection... Worn out cruising on Saturday night... Perhaps the reason for requests to pull over and show what was "under the hood" lololol...
  11. It's good to be in a Skyline! I've always been into cars, just never had something cool.... Driving the new R35 changed me... I was in a Skyline within months.... I go out every day and think "damn I love that car!"
  12. Lol... Nope Terry I think you've prety much got it covered.... Had a great chat at lights at 2am this morning with some dudes in a nicely done up blue '33, once they got over their initial shock and realised I was slowing down for a look at their ride...
  13. Haha thanks for that.... I've gotta ask, being a chick and driving a liner, do u also find every other guy u drive past is staring at u for god knows what reason???? Is it just not considered normal, or is it like, hey that's hot, or what??? It could be the way mine sounds, as that tends to draw attention, but I am just curious, is it that strange to see a chick driving a nice car??? (in this case, nice referring to loud, done up, fast and a Skyline) Or are they just looking at the car??? Maybe u guys can shed some light????
  14. Since I was asked so nicely by RBNT I have uploaded ONE shot to my gallery.... I have none with my car yet, still waiting on the photographer, but since u are clearly curious u will have to settle for "back to school".... Keep an eye out for me out cruising in my hot, black '33 with white RIMs... Keep on rockin! Sam
  15. Not yet... You'll just have to use your imagination..... Hahahahahahaha!
  16. Haha thanks! I like to go among rad people!!! Don't put the lube away yet.. The pics are comin..... lol
