I have people saying its a timing problem, an ignition problem, fueling problem or a computer problem so I have no idea at the moment

Okay, here is my problem. When I start driving my car drives fine during cold start etc. the problem only seems to occur when its warm to hot. when i drive it drives fine up until about 3000 4000 when it starts to splutter and backfire. this only recently started happening since i put on an FMIC and 3" turbo back exhaust. Ive had a look at the leads and plugs and they all seem to be fine, I think its the coil packs. but just to be sure i wanted to check with everyone else. it is an rb25det series 2 any help would be great thanks.

Hey all, Seeing as how I have decided to drop my full time job to go and study, I cannot really afford to keep doing stuff to my car. I have a Boost controller (Greddy Profec B spec II) and a Greddy e-manage piggy back computer that I 'was' going to fit. I bought them both brand new. Hey guys, dont have a skyline as of yet but am looking into buying a R32 as a drift shitter to start my drift hobbies . my first car was a 3.8L commodore V6..it pulled hard but i broke it so got rid of it and bought an AU XR6 with VCT and it has to be the best car ive driven yet besides the R32 i test drove a while ago, lovin the I6 engine im looking at selling the AU for the drifter car then later on buying a ute to pull it around when rego runs out. hopefully can find one thats already modded for track or almost completely modded for track. look forward to talking to people on here Cheers.
