  1. Thanx a lot Basti ^_^ I'm just after hub centers for the rims now. Not center caps as the R34 center caps look lame. But caps that will sit in the hub gap. Oh and a V grill for the front like \____/
  2. Lookin just a little bit tough <3
  3. Think the photo turned out allright ^_^ Quality is a bit low as I'm linking from Facebook, and Facebook lowers the quality quite a bit. Lovin the rims, picked em up off Dohmar. Only photoshoped the levels slightly and brightend the rims a little. Oh and i repainted my headlights in PS as they're lookin a bit yellow
  4. Anybody have an idea if S13 boss kit will fit R33? I'll take it tomorrow if it does
  5. Thanx for the spacers D.. whacked em on the front, placed them and tightend the nuts real precision like.. I was a master lol. No vibration at all and barely @ 120kmph. Steering, braking.. everything feels as it should. I'm not getting to excited just yet, knowing my luck a wheel will fly off while @ 90kmph, but right now everything is sweet. Thanx again D and everyone for the advice.
  6. Yeh unfortunately changing wheels (other than back to R33 stock 16"s) will not be a financial option for some many many months. Just driving with the stock 16's on the front and the r34 17's on the back LOL! It looks a little weird but feels better as my old 16's were bald as my head
  7. Should i be concerned with a 5mm spacer? This sort of has to be a long term solution lol I've also read that i'll need a Torque wrench to sort the nuts out before i drop the jack?? Also been reading that slip on spacers are a waste of time?? Hubcentric ftw??
  8. To glue the spacer to the rim?
  9. Hrmn I think I'm prob just going to have to do that. Will i need to put all 4 on? Rears sit perfect as is. Are spacers illegal in SA?
  10. How's the vibration with a spacer on the front? I was going to take an angle grinder to the caliper and shave a couple of mil off LOL! f**kin take that! This thread has the pic of the actual front caliper http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...-C-t296066.html My calibra has similar looking Calipers to the rear ones pictures in that thread, but on all 4. I thought maybe my 33 was supposed to have the same style rear ones all the way around also..
  11. Does mine have different calipers on the front than it's supposed to? :'(
  12. The groove left by the caliper. This rims currently on the back now
  13. Yeh was one rough ride man, I posted a thread about my problem. Maybe I have different calipers than I'm supposed to??? Maybe there's something wrong with my suspension, the front drivers side is a little spongey, and the tyer on the R34 rim seems to be touching the arm bit above the wheel very slightly every now and then. thread has pics of the calipers, will post a pic of the groove left in the rim aswell http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...-C-t296066.html
  14. I bought some R34 stock rims today to put on my R33, they looked bad ass I loved them. But then i started driving and noticed a clunk and a knocking sounds which gradually got worse and worse. Check the wheels and the front drivers side caliper was grinding on the rim and left a perfect groove all around the inside. The passenger side was making a noise and appeared to be touching the caliper aswell, but no visible marks. Tyres on the rims are 225/45/17 and the stock R33's are 205/55/16 It's only the very tip of the caliper that is touching. Was wondering if maybe using an angle grinder to shave a small amount off would cause serious problems? Any advice apreciated, I'm so sick of the headf**ks i keep getting trying to do simple stuff to this car. CD player, 4 people tried to put it in. 2 scratched my dash, 1 gave up and the other blew my tail lights and dash. Front strut, spent 2 days and an infinite amount of tools to get 1 nut off, ended up using an angle grinder to cut the nut off in the evening of the second day. Now rims, been searching for ages and pull strings to get the cash quikly for a set that came up.. Now can't use them because they scrape.. Here's pictures of first, my front calipers and second my rears.
  15. Spare jack.. tick jack handle... um.. where? lol Doesn't matter now anyway, got a 4WD hydrolic lifter to put them on. Doesn't matter which R34 rim i put on the front, they scrape my calapers. Makes a disgusting clunking noise and messes with my steering real bad. The calaper has left a perfectly straight groove in the rim *sigh.. I'm about done with this skyline, all the simple things i've had done to it have turned into absolute nightmares, this car has me completely exhausted and I think the next thing that goes wrong I'm just gonna get rid of it and go back to driving my Calibra.
  16. Huge thanx for the rims Luke, I can now stop boring my girlfriend with all the dif sizes and prices I keep seeing online and wishing I had In true Awsam fashion though, and further proof even the simplest of things with cars for me are made difficult.. My jack handle snapped while putting the rims on, so my skyline is now stuck suspended until a mate cbf'd comming over with theirs lol
  17. PM sent
  18. What suburb are you in? I'd be interested in aranging a time to take a look.
  19. Actually just found 3 old threads from start of this year of them going for $400-$500 with tyres. Def snap that up if it pops up in adelaide again
  20. Nah I did a quik search and saw them sold for upwards of $1k and the like. Set on Ebay about to go for $400 which is how much this other guy was ment to sell me them for as he was only holding onto them in case his 34 got defected. Would love them painted white.. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/17-GTS-T-Factory-Sk...=item255714321f
  21. Ah love those white rims man, why change?
  22. From the sounds of things, too expensive for me heh..
  23. Oooh you're right I see
  24. I uploaded a picture of the spoiler I'm talking about. Spotted this R33 while I was filling up. Was great to see same car/colour as mine with the rims I want, now I know I really want them lol
