thanks mate, but what i don't understand is that there is still a pressure reading on the dial itself, between 0 and 2 on idle and with higher revs it goes to around 4 which is what i thought was pretty normal? also wouldn't "no" pressure affect oil or water temp? i have an aftermarket water temp and the car runs quite cool... i hope it's not the pump, it's a nitto and i paid 1200 odd for it :-/

i have an R32 GTR, about 2000k out of a rebuilt and the red light on my oil pressure guage turned on. i checked the oil and it was a little low and needed a change so i changed the it yesterday (castrol edge 10w-60w) and the light is still on... is the light for oil level or low pressure? i'm worried can anyone shed some light on the situation? cheers.
