  1. not too bad, but for the keyhole rather than cut and paste a square, you would be better off using the clone tool (or magic brush). This will get rid of the visible square you can see.
  2. thanks for your advice guys. I will post some pics when the beast has been chosen.
  3. anyone got a before and after pic they could post to check out the difference?
  4. some of the pioneer head units let you bridge the two rear speakers to run a sub, however I wouldn't recommend doing this because A) you will blow up your deck if you dont know what you are doing b) the results you get a relatively poor. As an example the deck might have 20W RMS per channel = bridged 40W RMS. IMO a sub needs at least 100W RMS to really even get started. (you really want about 250W RMS to get it moving.) You really need to head to your local stereo shop and get the guys to: A) work out the correct load of the wiring config of the box B) sell you a compatible amp
  5. Hi All, I am considering importing my own R33 through Mark in Japan. Can anyone provide any recent good/bad stories about compliance workshops here in WA. I am considering Alistair at Autoworx or Imports 101.. I understand no negative feedback can be posted, so PM me if thats the case. Thanks in advance for any advice/tips etc.

  7. Hi Guys, Heading to carousel yesterday night via the back way and some tools put loads of oil on one of the back roads for burnouts... Not seeing this i put on the brakes but unfortunately too late to avoid smashing sliding on the oil for about 30 metres and straight into the curb. Damage: 1 X front spoiler fell off 1 x Cracked 17" Rim 1 x front right wheel doesnt turn with steering wheel 1 x steering arm bent (i think) 1 x front axle maybe broken... I had it towed to my house, but anyone know of any repairers that wont charge a million dollars. I have insurance but i dont want to claim. I am trying to get away with less than $1000. if i claim on insurance they will rape me next year with my premiums.. Thanks guys Adam Have posted some pics but dont know if you can see too well. Limited by the camera on my phone

  19. Hi These are definetly not stock speakers. They are Alpine 6" x 4" 3 ways. Assuming they are not stuffed they should piss all over the factory speakers. The next step up would to be to make a small baffle and chuck some 6" speakers (splits if you can afford it) for extra mid range and bass. Cheers
  20. Hi Morboost If you are happy to send the springs to Perth, ill buy them. How heavy are they? i can dd the money... PM me. Cheers
  21. Check your PM.. Cheers
  22. DOH.. dunno what i was thinking. Yeh better off to get a 4 channel, use 2 channels for speakers and bridge the other 2 for a single sub.
  23. Hi, If you are on a budget dont worry about buying a DVC sub as they are not any more powerful. They only enable you to pull more power from the amp by using different loads etc. You dont really want to get a DVC sub and then bridge a 4 channel down to 2 channels and use 1 for each voice coil as technically each bridged channel will provide different output. Just go nice 2 channel, and single voice coil sub and bridge the amp to 1 chann.
