Only person I know with aftermarket ecu is EVLR33 - he bought Kens PowerFC before I could get some money together. Can get a new PowerFC + HC from Nengun for $1700 delivered. If I knew that would solve the problem I would order one tomorrow & prepare to be castrated:)

Sorry - cant keep up on my connection guys. Used a stock ecu. Possible that there is something non standard I spose but got me buggered why the car was OK when I got it.

No Troy - I'm happy with my motor & I'm gonna beat this frickin' problem eventually. His ecu won't help cos Ken's one didn't make a difference either.

Yeah Paul you're right - only challenge is finding an expert, not sure who to talk to

Cant seem to get mirc to log on - not sure why cos I used to be on there a few months ago & everything worked ok Troy - you're number didn't come up on my phone, never does. You must have your phone set to block the number. Paul - no more faults from the knock sensors but there is still something very wrong. Ken & I tried another ecu & swapping an AFM today, still not sorted. On the way home from his place the idle was high & a bit rough. It is running way rich & now crackles more than usual. Parked the car for an hour or so & restarted & then the idle was way low!!! Really starting to shit me now:(

Should be home by 6pm - depends on whether I am dropping the slow bastard in the carport off or not - it's time to get some expert help sorting out the little farking gremlin that resides within him
