THE GOOD The wheels came on my car when I bought in 2001. Manufactured in 1996. Wheels have been awesome all these years, give the zed a timeless look. Rays Engineering wheels, made in Japan. 17 x 8" +45 with 235/45/17 Kumho Ku36 17 x 9" +45 with 255/40/17 kumho ku366 Multistud 5 x 114.3 and 4x 114.3 THE BAD Tyres are on the treadwear indicators so pretty much no good. 2 tyres have inside camber wear and 1 tyre is showing belt. Front wheels will clear standard brakes. If you have big brake kit 324mm rotors then the nissan logo on calipers gets very close ~1mm clearance. 1 rim has a small dent on the lip on inside of the wheel. Tyre holds pressure no problems. I will try take a photo of the dent when I get a chance and a photo of the wheels on the car. There is gutter rash on pretty much all the wheels, good for reconditioning. THE GOOD Price - $330

Superpro eccentric bushes for r33 gtst skyline front upper control arm. Never installed, car was sold before installing these. $120 Superpro swaybar bushes for r33 gtst skyline. May work on 300zx not sure. $20 for both packs. Pair of stock 300zx wheels. $20 Old stock r32gtst shocks with springs. $30 Stock 300zx brake calipers that came off a 90 model jap spec NA. Fronts are the narrow version that uses 26mm thick rotors. I do have the retaining clip that's missing in the photo. Rears are same for all 300zxs. Rear calipers have pads with good meat still. $50 the lot. Volk Winning F zero forged wheels Ultra light forged wheels, good as second set of wheels for trackdays!! Great set of wheels to start off with if you wish to start tracking. Would probably replace the front tyres with another 2nd set from ebay for cheap. Fronts are in good condition with blue anodised inner ring , rears have flaking chrome on rim face and has black anodised inner ring. Nothing a paint job on whole set couldn't fix. Front 17 x 8 +32 with 235/45/17 Dunlop direzzas 03G (sides have couple mm left but middle of tyre are almost on the belts) Rear 17 x 9 +45 with 245/40/17 Kumho v700 (still plenty of tread in middle but outside worn a bit more. still got a couple track days left in them) Did 1.10min around wakefield on these!! v700 are well known for their grip right down to the belts. $650 for the lot! Thanks for looking Mike

Few Parts For Sale, Lots Of Pics
mijake replied to mijake's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
anyone need a set of Ferodo pads for the trackday coming up? these are good pads to use for hard street use and light track use. Good bite when they get warm, kind on rotors and fade off slowly at their limit. Good pad to use if you dont want to change out street pads for track pads all the time. -

Sorry my bad, Sydney -
Brakes R32gtr calipers (new seals ~10,000km ago) calipers have dodgey paint job. Comes with DBA 4000 rotors (31.4, 31.6mm thickness left, brand new 32mm) Has Bendix Ultimate pads in it with plenty of meat left. Will also throw in a set of Ferodo Excel pads also with plenty of meat on them too. Brakes will pull up better then standard 300zx calipers. Setup was working well when on the car except the pads were squealing quite a bit. These are small in diameter then the big brake upgrade kits but the benefits of these calipers and rotors is that you dont need the adaptors to fit, direct bolt on. Surface rust on rotor is due to them sitting in the garage, rust will disappear after first few brakes. $300 for the lot! Ferodo 2500 pads for 300zx, 33gtst, s15. I was going to keep these for my cousin for the wakefield trackday coming up but he is no longer going. Front $250 Rear $200 Near new 555cc (615cc) Nismo injector. Was used once to flow test but never put into car. Flowed ~ 630cc at 40psi $180 Unorthodox racing pulley, been on the car for 60,000km. Very good condition Will supply with used accessory belts that are in good condition, no cracks. $120 Stock intercoolers with ducts in ok condition. No cracks in plastic, a small dent in the bottom of one of the coolers. $80 for both Aluminium lower radiator with rubber hose. Came with 4 clamps but 1 is missing. $50 HKS mushroom filter and adapter, has surface rust on the mesh cover $40 and I will throw in the other 2 pods below for FREE. Other 2 pods $10 each. All prices do not include postage. Prefer pickup Thanks Mike

Blurb from Greddy website "The PRofec B-Spec2 integrates all the basics of an electronic boost controller, with additional useful options. Use the built-in boost gauge (psi or kPa) to tune in a Lo. & Hi. SET % to raise the boost pressure, then optimize consistency and response with GAIN % and adjust the START GAIN to set initial wastegate response. Also built-in are optional: Warning point, Warning limiter, and peak & last boost record." $400 plus postage anywhere in Aus or pickup locally. mijake replied to mijake's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
This is the email i got back from APS Unichip company. "Hi Michael, Yes, most Nissans (excepting a couple of current models) use what we know as an ‘A’ version Unichip. The unit from the 300ZX will be perfectly compatible with the Skyline. – It will need to be professionally installed and dyno tuned though. Best Regards, Rainer Fritzsche Sales Manager APS" From what they say from the email, i would say yes. Cheers Mike -
Selling Unichip that came off my mum's 300zx as she wanted the car stock. I have checked with APS and they said the Version A Unichip works with 300zx, Skylines and most nissans. Brand new, they are around $600. Unichip info Pickup in Sydney only $ 250 Cheers Michael

Dont want Amosite to think im ripping him of buyers but just to let people know. I recently pickup up a pair of r32 gtr dba 4000 rotors for $198 each. That was the retail price from my local Repco in sydney! I was shocked too when he told me how cheap it was. As for prices for other rotors, i would have no idea.

Just cars has 3rd party property insurance that covers theft now as an added cost option

I want to buy a stock BOV/recirc valve. PM me or email me [email protected] mike
-
Basically, when I had the plumb back adapter for the BOV made from the mechanic, they reused the original gasket, after a few days it started to leak, so i went to supercheap auto, bought some gasket paper and cut it out to the same shape as the original gasket. Fixed the problem straight away. No more noises. Make sure all your intake pipes are secure and tight, you might be leaking from any of the joins. Good lcuk Regards Michael

Found cheap price for rotors
mijake replied to mijake's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Yeah, in the DBA catalogue if you look closely you will see that DBA only make a 4000 series rotor for the r32 GTR, you can choose smooth, slotted or drilled. I chose slotted. They dont make a standard OEM rotor replacement. I got it at Brookvale Repco
