What would you guys reckon about importing a C210 GT-EX from japan? Would you do it? I want one but is it worth the $15-20k?

I read somewhere about a small vacuum / airhose that used to go air box that if blocked, caused the car to to have a flatspot at the above rpm. Try find a blocked hose or if someone else can elaborate cause its been 5+ months since i saw the thread with this info.

my ones on my C210 are Aunger brand, try them.

Does it have a pod filter? or factory air box

you said only one to my question about crossflow not DOHC. You only mentioned that it had DOHC, not that it was the only one.

I think I will look into that, just love those S1 lights. How much you reckon i could get for my S2s? I got them for $390 to my door, looking to get most of that back. Wires modded to suit Aus spec C210 all 4 lights on low for headlights then all 4 on high for brakes.

Maybe sprint cars take higher octane fuel?

you'd find that one of the dual filament, filaments are burnt on both globes

I got my tailights to my door like 3 months ago, no fuss

I got my front end bushes changed over the last 2 days as well as 2 new ball joints, wheel alignment and grease up. The suspension place says they can't find any bushes for the rear, and suggested other datsuns may have the same or similar bushes/ setups. I'm also looking for camber/caster kits as well (for when i lower, fix current camber) and have come across some people called KMAC who make a camber/caster front and rear kit for the c210 which also fit the 510, 610, 1600, 180B, 200B, 240K and R30 Skyline. Are the suspension setups pretty much the same between these vehicles and could i use bushes from these to put into mine? thanks Socrates

There's 2 series (as i call it) of C210's the C210 and the facelifted C211 of 1979/1980. The series 1's come with quad round headlights as you can see, Series 2 come with the "modern" square headlights the tailights on the left are series 1 and on the right series 2 clear (aftermarket) Tailights for jap 4cyls and all export C210s series 1 Series 2 Here's one just for laughs
