  1. some pics making it around the defence network
  2. I've got the dash to roof trim piece, plastic trim pireces behind the front seat belts, maybe the centre console or at least some parts, seat belts and some boot stuff but you'll need to be specific about that. What door trim accessories? Switch surrounds?
  3. Bride R32/R33/A31 drivers rail. Suits bottom mount seats. $80 Located northern suburbs.
  4. The new family car. Family life doesn't mean you stop playing with cars, you just change priorities and the cars you play with. These are just some of the 60 pics from Iron Chef's office in Japan. Cannot wait for this thing to land and chuck some front tint, rims, exhaust & a kit on it.
  5. Had somebody do it for me, welding is something I need to learn how to do.
  6. Jesus, they sound like bloody SR20s.
  7. I've got a few bits and pieces, door trims plastic pillar surrounds, centre console, a few dash vents and surrounds (not the far passenger side) and maybe a few other bits. What exactly do you need?
  8. If it's the one I've seen it's an SA22 RX7, approx 400kg lighter than the ceffy. If the wagon is only rated to 1350kg then that's the weight of the ceffy before even adding the trailer into it. If they're rated to 1850kg then dragging the ceffy about with tyres on the trailer will be over. Like I've said though, I've got the Falcon, it's a POS I don't care about so I'm not gonna tow with the Crown. Mine will cost approx $15.5K landed and complied. By the time I chuck on rego, insurance, rims & tyres, kit, etc I'll easily be $20K into it.
  9. Daily only, won't be towing with it. Hard to find real figures on towing capacity, have read anything from 1350 to 2250 depending on the tow bar and if you can find a place willing to rate it high. Pass, I'll treat it like any other Jap sedan or wagon and assume it's soft in the rear and no good for towing along with poor fuel consumption from being a 2.5 turbo. We've got a BF XR6 Falcon sedan currently serving family daily/tow duties. The wife will palm that off to me, we'll sell her Sil80 that i'm dailying and she gets the wagon.
  10. Getting a new engine, ring lands were knackered on a few cylinders. No big build or anything like that planned, no conversion, just buying a stripped down 25, chucking all my shit on it and putting it back in. Now have a heap of new parts that I won't be using so will slowly rebuild the knackered engine, get the head reconditioned, etc. Also about to bring in a JZS171 Crown Estate.
  11. Cyl 6 was low on compression and with the head off after inspecting everything the piston was found to be sitting a little low thanks to a bent rod If the head is knackered I'll be in the market for a new engine.
  12. I've gone with a Koyo 32mm copper core rad and AU thermos that have been chopped a little to fit.
  13. Not much has happened since the previous post other than doing a few track days. The most recent one, Mallala matsuri on Jan 25 was terrible. Blew the headgasket so that's gotta be fixed and a few parts replaced like thermostat, water pump, + new head stud bolts, new radiator hoses and a few other little things. Since going to Mallala and seeing 2 cars flip and how many tyre stacks there are everywhere this has been happening whilst the car is off the track. CAMS spec weld in half cage with single side intrusions. With the headgasket going, a newborn kid and holding money aside for when Iron Chef finds me a JZS171 Crown Estate, I can't afford a full cage
  14. Caterham... nice to see they're letting the special needs kiddies near the crayons again.
  15. Shit, did too haha. Delete, delete, nobody saw anything.
  16. Pics from the drift day I organised at Tailem Bend. Was the last day before being handed over to the new owners so got a decent turnout.
  17. ^ Like I said, hard to find in a decent offset. I've only seen a few pairs over the last couple of years that were a 9j +20
  18. Couple of different styles, wider spokes, slight step lip, etc. Damn hard to find in a decent width & offset 17, 18s are a little easier but still not great.
  19. Progression are located on Unley Rd. They do some pretty mad work, my wife got her geisha girl done there. Crappy home pics don't do it justice, better off checking out their pics online but here's a few from their FB page. The sailboat ribcage image is a mate's work he had done there.
  20. SA Motorsport Tyres in Norwood
