  1. hehe ... just bought a silvia with some front damage .. want to do a RB20det for a little cruiser and that familar RB note Got this problem... I'm damn good at buying cars, but struggle to sell them!... ,.. hopefully head to head with you when i bring da ceffy nxt drags!
  2. here here R34GTT-R... Yeah Inark, you go when you please... the ET (quarter mile time) begins when you leave the line. As long as you don't jump the line b4 green, you can leave when your ready. The first time I ran my old r33 at calder was great fun as they asked me to join the shootout ... this was competition lights, so go on green.. reaction time was very important, but also could not break through your best time for the day. (basically you go on the first orange as far as i remember as the green appears so fast!) damn good fun .. got a trophy for 2nd prize and got to speak on the mike as everyone left at the end of the night ... hehe .. basically gave a speach to dr_drift .... started with 13.8 et that night ... wheels spinning literally from start to finish .. improved until i reached 12.14 .. all on dodgy old second hand tyres (albiet 255's)... i was expecting to improve like that in Endless but need nitto's simple as that.
  3. Hey Guys, I'm after silvia 1990 - front light assembly - black bonnet - black front bar (can be aftermarket) - black front 1/4 panels ** Other colours considered but will pay a premium for black** Also RB20det with ECU, Loom, and 5spd. Will consider RB25det ECU and 5spd if the price is nice PM, Email [email protected], or phone 0421 058 259 Regards, Oyabun
  4. Hey SIR33, How bout my R32 GTSt ... not sure what your budget is, but this baby is busting over 355 rwkw's (with wheelspin) at 1.2bar boost. New Tomei 1.5 mill gasket going in this week so we can boost into the turbo's efficiency range Not planning to sell yet, however if you can't resist - 50k Good luck finding the right car!
  5. I will fit the in cabin silencer no extra cost to any of the cars if exhaust volume is of concern...
  6. hey sven laptop, The green one is registered this week, and the white one can be prepared for registration in approx 2 weeks (I still need to comply it), but this is no trouble at all. It is very quiet indeed ... you would be surprised! The Rims you can keep however I will change the rims with silvia for the time being. This would be perfect with some deep dish all round.
  7. Anyone confident of getting below 2 second 60ft in Endless?? If you can the car will see an estimated 10.oh yeah ET Welcome to the 13second club some of you ... I'm planning on joining you in the Green Ceffy when I go low profile one week soon Come along next time R32Nismoid! ... damn cool to see you beast smokin up the strip while you try to get traction LOL .. it's funny how you always feel faster when the wheels are spinning up the strip Oyabun
  8. true buster ... but beat it 12.4sumthing at 129.72 mph the other day. I've heard a rumour you have entered a new region though ... the world of 11 seconds?? I'm still a virgin in that dept... thinking i'll skip that and go straight for 10's do tell ?
  9. fair enough ... I've still got my R32 GTSt . a great all round tough sportscar. Ceffy;s however ... you gottat try one before you get all decisive on us .. they are a very nice package, with huge boot and 4 doors for all the family... cheers, Oyabun
  10. IMPUL WHORIN' THE STRIP Looks like his 11.7 run Nex time I'd like to line up next to one of the GTR's so I can pass them at the 380mtr mark
  11. Gary, the owner of Impul also got some good footage of some duels .... Will be viewing some tonight at BMT around 10-11pm ... I hope he has it ready! RiggaP .. nxt time just ask me to borrow the 235 semi's ... would have been great to help in your traction dept. (maybe you would like to borrow my turbos too?) Nice pics Jamezilla ! .. how about that side shot I framed for you? Thanx Meggala for posting the Full Boost pic .. you can see the white hands as I'm visualizing 129mph ...surprised me too as i approached the 1/4 mile mark, thinking about the gear change to 4th ... then, well just kept it planted LOL ... and crossed the line in 3rd @ 129.72 Did pretty well for little old semislicks if i say so myself ... clean snapped the input shaft just before it enters the gearbox .. at BMT we cracked the box open and confirmed the aftermarket gearset looking very nice (just running standard input shaft from RB25box!)... why faster this time even though running full slicks at calder? .. calder my first run was without heating tyres and still bogged down, then second run snapped axle. This time I bogged first run, wheelspun too much second run, third run still spun (then bogged ) .. then benny had a go and snapped the shaft! How to we get a good 60ft? .. 1) Strengthen everything through cryogenics, billets shafts, etc ... and run 275 nitto's. 2) Drop Auto box with 6,000 rpm stall for drag purposes... ... anyone up for 5th gear Wangan!? cheers, Oyabun PS: Held the right foot flat on the drive home ... in a duel with Impul ... whaddaya expect when driving the EXKGB (Jamezillas Orange Lada .. Impul treated me to about a thousand blue flames though ... damn cool, as almost every gearchange at cruising throttle produced a nice 4-5" flame.
  12. thx guys for a great day!! Always love heading to heathcote for a sunny day at the drags... Thanks to the Golgo crew of friends and girlfriends getting the bbq crackin' .. The cars? ... The Lada survived another day after towing endless for most of the way ... ended up driving the rest (gasket leaking so worried about overheating) .. but was all good. Great to see so many familiar faces (and cars) from SAU ... really feels like like day was put on for us .... good to see everyone getting out there .. Golgo (Jamezilla) cracking into high 12's with slipping clutch, GTR-34 further refining it's ability to make a consistent 11sec R34 .. just gotta get there first .. shame about the clutch half way up the track!.. who else ... some nice GTSt's made 13's ... Impul was one of the winners of the day ... with 4wd burnouts being the in thing in my book (saw an Evo do this at calder and Impul managed a 60ft 4wd burnout .. and of course the 11.7 !... as usual, crazy auto drag cars ... thx Leewah for the moral support and help with Endless on the trailer . and Endless... well I was sure I could walk away with an 11.something however I was unable to suss a good launch techinque after 3 runs ... each of them were around 2.5 (or over in 60ft times!! (yes, pretty poor effort ) .. Meggala got pretty close with the MPH of 129.72 which I understand is pretty farqen quick! .. damn feels nice to get up to that speed on the strip. And yes, as soon as I let the experts take over to drag my car.. well snapped something else! (we think it's a section of the gearbox .. probably not the actual gears ... will soon find out Thanks to Jack from CityWide towing for coming all the way down and sending back Endless and GTR-34. Can't wait to get there again ... Maybe Meggala can pull his finger out and make the time to challenge my Ceffy ... head to head ceffy's ... first in Australia? Cheers, Oyabun :burnout: :burnout:
  13. well done Buster .. 12.24 ! Heading to Heathcote Drags Sunday ... bbq, a glass of wine, and hopefully i can crack deep into 11's for my GTSt stay tuned Benm

Bugger... Was looking forward to seeing a great time or two pulled from either Leewah, Ice Supra, or Matt's beast ... at least I could enjoy some competition... or more realistic i think ... some damn fast cars to watch while endless complete's stage two testing with another glitch in the system Oy yeah ... Oyabun has a number of translations (thx Leewah) The best I've heard yet (from a Japanese national translating) .. is Oyabun is the head Yakuza. Boss and supervisor must be poor translations .. so I think I'll stick with the Yakuza one. --> Meggala .. they don't eat oranges in Japan mate .. all i think they do with their time is drop RB26dett's into rwd babies... the RB20 or SRr32 thing just does not cut it for a regular Oyabun Heathcote for myself.. I will be there 100% .. enjoying the sun and a glass of wine picked up on the way ... we'll be bringing a bbq and some good tucker, so anyone recognizes me or the bmt boys .. please come over and enjoy with us. I'm thinking better to wait until I get that gasket in .. so depending on how we go at BMT on Saturday with time... Endless will be joining me for the day at Heathcote to bust a 11.5? ... might even get a mph we all approve of matt Cheers, Orange Boy

Leewah ... GTR 34 is a top guy .. should be a great day at Heathcote .. (pray my gasket can arrive in time?)
  20. thought of buying Cefiro? similar to R32 Skyline but more pimp http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=25716
  21. guys, this R32 is best R32GTR i' ve ever seen in flesh by a long shot. - it's consistently beaten all other GTR's with similar mod's on same dyno/same day comparisons ... i've never seen this car be beaten on "the strip" in a 1/4 mile run either ... only time a GTR could match it is when it had serious upgrades to either engine (3ltr R32 GTR running supposed N1 turbos @ 1 bar could match it), and some crazy R33 with 'high flowed' turb's and all the lot thrown in. not sure exactly what the turbo's are, however this car has always been imaculately maintained. have been there at dyno days with this thing ... the Doc is spot on with the 50kw difference. got any stock GTR turbo's to take pic next to? ... maybe Inpul can bring your camera down to BMT to show the direct comparison? cheers, Oyabun
  22. huh! ... nice to see my car has some attention .. Gearbox? ... think it's a Trust Gearset but who knows .. has not broken so I expect it to be HKS or something known to be tougher (I hear trust box's are not da best in town). Rebuilt with new piston, o ring block, and some interesting bmt headwork to get that RB flowing just nicely... tried the standard gasket to see exactly what would happen, now going tomei 1.5mill as it's a bubblin'. Standard 2.6ltr size with fat sump, fat fuel pump, 1000 cc injectors and some solid tuning ... yes, it sure was achieved on BP Ultimate ... but pumped at Calder when I tested at the strip. Yes, should be able to bust 10's ... tried to get that on my second run at calder but snapped the axle ... hope to crack below 11.5 next meet... Please save the techincal questions for the good Doc or the boys at BMT ... all i do is finance and drive tha thing ... tough job i know ... what can i say? ... 2835R Powered RB26's and GTSt's were made for a reason - I'm not doing anything fancy here, just bringing them together Cheers, Oyabun
