thanks sapphire. Pretty nervous now =/ . I dont think i will be getting a GPS tracker/pager alarm as i cant really afford it. I am getting a mongoose M60S alarm/immobiliser put in though, hopefully that is enough of a deterrant.

Hi, I'm new here, my name is Sam, and i just got my 1998 r34 GT-T =] Anyway, I'm going to get an immobiliser and stuff fitted this week but my real question is; I here alot of stories about cars like this getting stolen, and i was wondering is it really a common thing to have your car stolen if you have a skyline? I work in melbourne city at night, and park in a fenced off (but accessable to pedestrians) carpark - One of those wilsons ones with the "24 hour CCTV surveillance", which im sure would help alot . Is that high risk if im parking at a place like that most days with the car being unattended for reasonably long periods? Thanks, Sam
