  1. Hi All, Thanks for the advice. If i use the 350z suspension which model can i use as it seems thats all i can get my hands on from the dealers, here in Botswana we pritty limited. If i can get hold of an overseas supplier like bilstien would their 350z kit work on this 2002yr GH-HV35? Thanks again n15m0 and T4NK. Cheers Richard
  2. Hi All, I need to get new shocks for a GH-HV35 300GT, 2002 yr. Are all V35's running the same shock front and rear or is there a difference between the models, this is a sedan 2 wheel drive i'm asking about? Is this model compatable with the 350Z chassis? Any advice is greatly appreciated, Thanks Richard
  3. Hi there, what if we out of AU, i'm in Botswana?
  4. Hi All, well sorted out my mil light on dash had two codes one for camshaft sensor, P0340, Other for intake vave sensor, P1111, Light hasn't come on since still debating which scanner to buy, Cheers Richard
  5. Hi All, light still on, haven't had any luck in finding a scanner that meets my needs and bank balance, taking my car in for a scan today at local dealer hopefully their consult can give her a tune up, wish me luck, cheers
  6. Hi all, Thanks alot for all your advice if there is any more info on scanner manufactures that will be compatable and are available in au i'd appreciate the info. Thanks again, cheers Richard
  7. Hi all, I have a warning light on my dash which shows the engine, it is the first time for it to be on for me. The wife came to start the car this morning and she noticed the light was on so she let me know. I am concerned about it, i contacted my local dealer but they are not sure if there consult ii obd scanner will pick up the model as the vehicle is not a locally manufactured one,is this true that the scanner may not be able to read my ecu? I have a Haynes manual for the 350Z and G35 and they talk about obdii scanners and they mention a actron brand. I would like to buy a scanner but would like to know that i am buying the correct scanner that will read my Nissan, does anyone know which brand would be the best and at the same time reasonabley affordable. I can deffinatly rule out the maxi-scan ms509 as my brother-inlaw sent my father one and it cannot link to my Nissan, all it say's is linking error try again and thats all it say's time after time.Does the engine light just come on as soon as it pick's up a fault or is there a time frame that if a fault occures it is delayed because if the light was not on when we last used the car then it comes on now after it has stood for plus minus 2 weeks when we start it , this doesn't make sense as how can a fault arise when the vehicle has been off, if anyone has any advice i would greatly appreciate it. Cheers RICHARD
  8. Hi Jason, Sorry i can't come round i'm a bit far from all you guys but i really wish i could. I live in Botswana Africa, i wan't your opinion on that filter as i can get one but was just doing some homework on it, thanks for your advice, ireally wish to get a brace like you have too guess i need to look around in South Africa maybe a 350Z one would do yhe job? Anyway thanks again, Cheers Richard.
  9. Hi Jason, Hey how do you find the K&N filter, performance wise, and do you use the filter spray?
  10. Hi All, I don't mean to be repeating threads here it's just that my side of the world you don't get much of a variety so one really needs to be on the ball, eg if my car needs matic j then the closest i can get is Dia queen sp III from the mitshie guys but if it needs matic d then nissan has some which hopefully hasn't expired as the one lady said when she started there see found it in stock and has never seen it move and thats plus five years back. Our auto shops don't even stock semi or full syn oils i can only get that stuff from agents like mitshie and benz.Nissan here don't even use semi syn just multi grade 20w 50. Anyway i'll search the forum to see what i can find thanks all, Cheers Richard
  11. Hi there Frank, Thanks for the reply, it's always great to get confirmation on issues concerning our motorvehicles. With your SM api grade oil is it a mineral,semi-syn or fully-syn? How strongly do you feel on your guess about the second row of your translation about the ATF oil as in my hand book which has been translated ,by jpnz manuals, they say i should use Nissan matic D. If you could confirm this then i would appreciate it as now i'm a bit confused. To all our fellow V35 Driver's, If you have a 250GT Auto what are you using, i would really appreciate your advice. Cheers Richard
  12. Hi there all, Please could anyone help me out with the following translation of a sticker on the bonnet. I gather that it is to do with the engine oil grade and duration of service intervals but i would really like to know exactly what they are informing us about the oils. Thanks Richard
  13. Hi Jeff, That sounds like it was resonable price, thanks Cheers Richard
  14. Hi 'Tuff 350' Thanks for the info, may i ask how do i send a 'pm'? Where do i find a regester of all the vendors on the site, i would need to import it as i'm in Botswana but i do have family in Perth,Au. Cheers Richard
  15. Hi Jeff, I'm glad you found the problem, was it a matter of giving it a clean or was it a bad connection with the plug or did the sensor just give up the GO? What was the damage to your pocket for the job? Cheers Richard
