  1. Some new cooling goodies going on the R34. New triple core radiator, oil cooler & remote fan switch.
  2. Here she is in full flight at QR. Got some video too, but still got to upload that!
  3. Finished! (for now) We ended up going with 18x10 Nismo LM GT4s
  4. She's back with the rest of the family! We're heading out to Lakeside this weekend for the Classic Japanese Show & Shine and will get it out on the track!
  5. Time for new decals! Here is our rough photoshop mock up.
  6. Here she is! Now we really need to get those wheels sorted...
  7. Halfway through the respray. Rear guards have been flared, Z-Tune guards have been modified to match up with the side skirts, the car should be going into the booth today to finish the body. Progress pics:
  8. Today we loaded up the new kit and dropped it off at Cameron's Bodyworks. It'll be two weeks until he can start on our job, but we can hardly wait. Full respray, new kit & flared rear guards
  9. We are the Australian importer & distributor of Nismo Competition Parts, so luckily, we had a set out the back If you need a set, you can order them through any authorised dealer.
  10. The new bodykit has arrived! We ended up going with a Blits kit, so new front, rear, sides & bonnet with a set of Z-Tune guards to finish the look!
  11. Hi mate, I'm from Motul Australia, if you want to send through the specs of your GT-R and the type of use, happy to advise which type of Motul oil would be best for your car. Send via PM if you prefer. Cheers Scott
  12. No adjustment in the Nismo arms, the geometry of the setup is designed for performance driving. Trying to get a balance between performance and comfort, while keeping the car road legal. No runs with the AFR's that I have seen, but the guys at HPR should have them somewhere. I'll try to track them down. Got the car back and just went for the first run with the extra neddies and new suspension components... is good. It felt quick before, but you get a really good shove from it now. Even more importantly, you are coming on boost at 2800rpm and it winds straight out to 1.6bar and the engine just spins out to the redline. The whole car feels very solid mid corner and it particularly impressive coming out the other side, really getting the power through to the ground. Will be getting on to the bodywork next...
  13. All getting put back together... And this is what a 377HP engine looks like...
  14. Ivan has explained to me that the boost drop is due to us retaining the standard manifold - that keeps things interesting! That was also just a run in Shootout mode to see what we could get out of it, here are the tuning runs.
  15. Few more pics from today! The front links are in and the rear cradle is out!
  16. After a shakedown at QR, we found that the factory inlet to the turbo was heating up and constricting, limiting air flow. So Ivan and the guys at Hi Power Racing manufactured a new inlet pipe and here are the results. To say that we are pleased would be a massive understatement! 377.8HP @1.5 bar. We have also started on the suspension, replacing the links & bushes with Nismo items. The red front bar is just to keep it all legal until the new one arrives! Snozzle, we pinched that cluster out of our red R34 and it came like that from Japan, so sorry mate - no extra details on that one unfortunately!
  17. Been sourcing the kit for the 34 and just getting used to the new set up.. Also have purchased the new bonnet. Gone with the ADR approve Blits one. Should arrive tomorrow! Also going to QR for Time Attack tomorrow, be our first chance to really wind it up. Be interesting to see how it goes.
  18. It's running at 19psi
  19. Video of the final power run http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTk2mR45FE8
  20. Day 9 - 20/04/10 330HP ATW!!! Here are the dyno sheets, the first three show the actual tune with a steady power curve. The last one is in shootout mode, just going for big numbers. Note the wheelspin at 4000RPM on the last sheet. On the final pic, the green line shows where we started and the red line is the current output. Pretty happy with that.
  21. Day 8 - 19/04/10 Getting tuned at the moment, that should be finished in the next hour or so. From about 4pm, we're going to wind it up for some power runs!
  22. IT'S ALIVE! Day 7 - 16/4/10 Everything is back together and the Power FC is in! Terry calculated a basic tune and she kicked over first time!!! Unfortunately we can't get it on the dyno today, but come Monday, we will be on the rollers and find out what gains we made!
  23. Hi 33_racer, thanks for your advice. We have no illusions about the cost and commitment that it takes to really go fast. To be honest, a 59.99 would be perfect! There is no way that we will be the quickest, as this car will remain road registered, but the Red 4 door GT-T we were using previously was almost totally stock and getting smashed on the straights. Hopefully, this will just allow us to be a little more competitive. Back to the build - The Apexi Power FC finally turned up!
  24. Day 6 - 15/4/10 1 can of VHT = stealth intercooler Intercooler is all plumbed in now, the injectors are next, also got the Pivot gauges installed The guys were also tuning the S15 for the upcoming World Time Attack, such a beast.
