  1. congrats on your purchase mate - what an awesome car to own. Out of curiousity what is your occupation?
  2. getting defected is going to suck big time....
  3. yeh just the standard viscous LSD at the moment - i might take it out and get it shimmed, that worked fairly well on my S13. only other thing stopping me is this is a mint clean SII R33, almost seems like id be spoiling a nice car
  4. Hi Toshi, I am in Perth and currently have a R33 Skyline with exhuast, fmic, pod, apexi neo (safc) and greddy ebc - dyno tuned making 193 rwkw (260hp) the car does seem to have a large mid range flatspot - what power would you expect to get with a ecu remap for my car? and will it get rid of the flatspot? Cheers, Steve
  5. Hey guys, I have been thinking about entering some drift events in my R33 lately but just wanted to know what they are like as a drift car. I have previously drifted my old S13 Silvia which i found quite easy to slide around and transition as it didnt feel anywhere near as "bulky" as the R33 does. So what are they like to slide? and is it worth me maybe just selling and buying an S13 instead? Below is my setup - please let me know if you think this would be effective for a bit of fun: - C's Short Shifter - Pedders adjustable camber bushes - Greddy FMIC - Tein Superstreet Coilover suspension - Whiteline heavy duty front and rear swaybars - Whiteline Front Strut Brace - Rear Strut Brace - Apexi cold air induction - 3in Xforce TBE - Apexi Neo AFC - Greddy EBC - Work Emotion XC-8 Charcoal/Bronze 18in wheels with centre caps - Bosch fuel pump 260rwhp (193rwkw) Here are a couple of the very few jap drift videos i have found with R33's sliding for your entertainment Cheers, Steve
  6. mate move this post to the "General" section or skyline section. Or as you are in WA the WA section - get far more traffic there
  7. Hey Guys, on my R33 S2 Gts-t, i have a problem with the fuel guage. When there is a quarter a tank or more the gauge is pretty accurate, but once it gets to below this it will sometimes randomly complete drop down to E, like even below E sometimes, then it will randomly climb back to a quarter, its extremely inaccurate at anything below a quarter a tank, it almost stops working. Any advice? Steve
  8. not worth 13k, there are 4 door tiptronic turbos here in perth for around that price, maybe 10k

    Gtr $182,000?

s15 guy pm please! GTR looks great in white
  13. do they fit perfectly and screws all ready to bolt up?
  14. what i dont get is how people dont drift them due to size and weight issues - its weird if the japanese think this aswell as they absolutely love cefiros, jzx100 etc etc if a big old cefiro family car can slide well why not an r33... btw great thread keep updating with pics/ vids
  15. how can they not have included such a basic hoon need as skid marks? its 2010 games have been doing this for 10 yearls already
  16. thanks heaps for the replys guy - and trident, very tough 33
  17. yes thats exactly what i have, although it seems there is like a 1 cm gap between the pipes which i thought was concerning...
  18. hey guys, yesterday i took my intercooler pipe apart (where it goes accross the motor in front of the radiator (Rb25 R33 with a Greddy Intercooler) Now i didn't see how it was originally connected as the rubber clamp was covering the connection but when i tried to put them back together i could not for the life of me get them to interlock (the pipe to go inside the other pipe) it doesn't really seem like they could anyway? So now they are basically together maybe a cm gap between them with the rubber clamp pushed back over holding them together - car still drives fine but is it normal for them to be like this??? Appreciate advice.. Steve
  19. Hey guys, chasing a lip spoiler for my R33 - can anyone share places that have perfectly fitting lips with everything required to put them on? Also at the best price? im in Perth if there is anything good local. Steve
  20. i havent played GT in ages - but do the cars finally leave skid marks yet when you do burnouts / slides?
  21. a compression test wont be nearly as useful as a leak down test - get both done and then you will know, but when my old CA18 started filling up the catch can and FMIC pipes i knew the rings were gone rb20 motor is cheap as chips anyway ~ 1k
  22. would touch up paint work to cover it up completely? the paint is completely stipped in the first pic (the masking tape just pulled it right off) also anyone know where to get KR4 touch up paint in Perth? I did a search and apparently Nissan is the best place to go?
  23. Hey guys, I was cleaning my headlights this morning and stupidly used a duct tape to mask up the surrounding bumpers. When i peeled the tape off i unfortunately peeled a strip of paint off the front bumper When i picked the car up it already had a slight scrape on the other side of the bumper which im thinking i may just get both problems fixed at a panel beater. Couple of questions - how much should i expect to pay to get a panel beater to fix the paint problems (pics attached) could i do it myself instead fairly easily? I read in another thread Nissan do touch up paint for $12 or so dollars that comes with a brush? Anyone recommend someone NOR? Cheers for the advice. Steve
  24. WA plates - no restricitons... YET mate nice 33 just please dont rap it around a pole or try and impress your friends on the street, they already have a bad enough rep. also how did you find that for 5K ??? whats wrong with it?
