did you have a stock ECU? how did you do this with not hitting Rich and Retard

sorry mate i meant i was worried about the dip in power affecting times and therefore considering dropping it 1 psi to avoid it... noob question but as the car has been tuned to whatever psi its running at the moment, if i simply drop it down 1 psi do i need to get it re tuned to this boost level?

ok i will look into this - i have seen other rb25's with an safc tune that dont have this problem?? should i turn the boost down 1 psi to avoid entering R &R mode for the time being? im keen to head down to the drags but i think this may mess up my times a bit.

Hey guys, I got my r33's apexi neo tuned at allstar garage last week - the result was 260rwhp When i picked the car up one of the guys told me that there is a drop in power through the mid range and that this is normal for an rb25 and the only way to get rid of it is with a full computer - however after doing some research I have seen dyno graphs of Rb25's with safc tunes that dont have this dip in the power curve??? i have attached my dyno sheet and am looking foward to hearing your comments - its annoying to drive with the dip in the mid range and your basically sitting wait for the power to come... Comments/ Advice? Steve

Just done an oil change still does it - is lifter noise a problem? can it cause any damage? i think it may be injectors though as its more a ticking then light tapping

Hey Guys, sometimes i get a "ticking" sound at idle, if i give the engine a rev it seems to disappear but as soon as it returns to idle it starts ticking again - the car is an R33 GTS25T is this a sticky lifter or what? And how do i fix it? Steve

Hey guys, my car sits outside so i bought a good quality autoteknica hail proof car cover (~$180) online, i had it on the car last night and this morning when i pulled it off its seemed to have caused light swirls and scratches on the paint, and you can see its dragged a sticky dirt all across the windscreen etc. ive done some reading on the net and apparently car covers are no good as the wind blows the cover and even if the car is slightly dirty the sand / dust rubs and scratches the paint etc... I really dont like the car siting out in the rain and the hot sun in summer, but is it just better to use no cover?

hey guys, what time do you think my 260rwhp manual R33 Gts25t would do down the quarter mile? It feels quite a bit slower then my 196rwhp S13 that did a 13.8 - it doesn't really push you back in the seat as much as i would have thought for 260rwhp

the dyno sheet the previous owner gave me from Xspeed was 278rwhp so i was expecting something around that... ah well 260rwhp is 193rwkw so not to bad i guess, just doesnt feel any faster then my CA18 which had 196rwhp

Hey guys, got my R33 Apexi Neo tuned at the result was 260rwhp - not sure what Psi the dyno sheet didnt say but would have been the limit of the 25 turbo so around 11psi the previous owner had the car tuned at a different workshop and had dyno sheets in the glovebox for 278rwhp - is my power result a decent one? mods below: - Greddy FMIC - Apexi cold air induction - 3in Xforce TBE - Apexi Neo AFC - Greddy EBC - Bosch fuel pump

well just picked up the car from all star garage - im a little bit disapointed 260 rwhp was expecting more like 270 or 280 - feels slow haha

mate random question - how much would you charge to install two front door speakers on my R33? i already have the speakers but dont want to risk fkn up my door trims doing it myself..?

could be - the last owner did service it at Kmart Tyre and Auto - god knows what sh*t they put in it. Tune + Service on Friday so il let the guys at AllStar Garage know all the issues and see what happens
