Yeah my car first had blown piping on the cooler then a leak in the exhaust manifold. Should be back on the track next week if I can get the time to fix it. Was a real shit as I was just getting used to the new suspension and tyres too! That red gtst was kinda insaine, I think modified cars of that level should be in the race car and gtr group.

wow.. alot of angry talk in this thread.. Its a real shame. there was a article on one of the car mags recently saying the GT-R is over rated. I honestly dont think the GT-R is going to give me any more enjoyment out of driving and as such have stuck with my GTST. its all personal opinion. Anyway for those heading to the track tomorrow I will see you there.

R33 GTST You can run 17x9 on a GTST but you need thinner rubber on the front. Probably 235/40R/17 or something. They do stick out a little, but it looks mean. hahaha

Ohh just found this thread.. I am heading to canberra on Saturday so its easier for me to get to Goulburn early on Sunday morning for the Unique Trackday. Then on Sunday night I am staying at the pelican sheep station near wakefield park for the zigzig trackday on the 17th. Whilst all the cabins I booked for sunday night are full they have extra cabins available so just give them a call.

I will be there most of the weekend taking notes and lending my support to raceworx.

I went to a tyre place. They can even put 225 wide rubber on a 9inch rim. Sheesh I went to vision, they are really nice guys who got my front bar sorted for me. However I am not that happy with how they rolled the guards, they just seemed to lip them. I am going to go out to tempe tomorrow and get them to do it some more. It seems that vision dont have the machine required, but I know for sure that tempe can do it... how else do you fit 20inch chromies on a swift.

Problem is that the car is not available for him to do it until later this week. He offered to lend me the machine but I am way to busy and also not wanting to **** the car up. I have 255s on the front, so I am hoping they can roll the guards enough to not cause any issue.
