Interesting that credit cards are not as well used as in Australia. I would have thought japan would be more of a cashless society.. I shall take your advice rezz, take some cash to up garage and the like.

Guys, What do you think the best way to cope in japan would be when it comes to buying odds and ends from places like up garage.. I take it visa is as popular in japan as anywhere else? Are eftpos cards or cirrus cards as common as australia??

Well like all good daily drivers my one is being a pain, the highbeams get stuck on as soon as you turn on the lights. Has anyone seen this happen before or have any ideas on what to check out first. The car is a 88 Nissan Exa.

My pulsar I used to drive hard, it was auto and I would drop it from N to D at the lights all the time. I would be driving all over sydney responding to service calls so often time was importnat. Once on my way to a school in kellyville I had to take a shortcut that took us through a dirt track, well needless to say we had some serious fun getting air on this dirt track. That car never stopped, it was awesome. Worst I did was nail a brake caliper which had to be overhauled. The celica also got driven quite hard, not as abusive but hard. I once aqua plained off the road in the wet on a corner. The drain was not working right and I smacked the front left wheel into the gutter. Toyota wanted 1000 bucks for a new wheel, but I found a 2nd hand one luckily..

I have heard that holden is harassing the ARC to get its 4wd ute into the ute class. So holden want to run against ford, but want special rules to allow them to run a 4x4 against fords RWD car. Holden is really farking up australian motorsport. Good thing NZ is so close, I might have to start going over there to get my Motorsport Dosage. Anyone want to fly me to Race to the sky in april?

Get a daily driver like I did! Teh Exa Can neva loose. Although honestly the exa is a hoon mobile so I dont think I am safe in it. I think the key is to keep it real during the holidays, be on guard, drive carefully and try not to get into any trouble. The police are enforcing laws put in place by the government, simple as that. The only difference is the cops attitude, some are cool and do their job well others are on what appears to be a power trip. I find that bitching wont fix it, the best bet is to stay away. And no I wont be taking the skyline on a australia day cruise this year, I escaped defects last year and want to start this year on a good note.
