Duncan what about getting your car shipped up. A mate of mine moved to perth and had his boat and car shipped over by train. Might be cheaper than 8 tanks of fuel.

Yeah I used velcro to stick my turbo timer under my dash... worked a charm. When I brought the car it had some funky double sided tape which worked well, was black thin strips and held it very well. Only reason i removed it was to install the stereo.

When it comes to badging I think people should be proud of what they have, if they have a GTS-T they should be proud of it. When it comes to kits they can do what they want, the GTR kit is nice and if its installed correctly gives the car a nice look. If they are doing it, and it makes them happy.. then thats great..

Firstly I am going to say that what Roy is saying is spot on. You cant go into court and say the police officer was lying. First because you would just lying and the judges job is to figure out who is lying and who is not and secondly its just wrong. Your best option is to go speak to a lawyer, go to court and contest the punishment. The court will then decide what to do, they can release your car and drop the fines. You may still lose points but it might only be for speeding. Now for those who have an issue with the whole impounding thing, stop bashing on the cops. I have been fined twice for speeding and while I was pissed it is not the cops fault, its the laws which he is PAID to enforce. I have also been followed by police and find that at times they are a pain in the ass. But they are only doing 2 things.. 1. Going with what they know. Alot of people who drive performance cars break the law. So they pay extra attention to performance cars. 2. They are only enforcing the laws written and put into place buy the various government bodies. If you have an issue with these laws then petition the government.

I brought my car from north shore, ben is a champ and has some very tidy cars. He is not a sales man so what he tells you will be the truth.
