Over the last few days I have been giving serious thought as to what role I can play with in the club. I have already expressed to a few of you that I am highly enthusiastic about SAU, and really would love & enjoy e part of the clubs growth (and high quality, this is not a numbers game only). I see the club as being a hub for : - Track days - Motorsport Events, be it spectating or racing - Support organisation (not monitary) for those who wish to race or enter an event - A social group who will hold regular functions - A group who can be a voice to many institutions, such as insurance bodys, government, RTA and the police on many of the issues we all have. I would be honored to be a part of the SAU "exec" team, and I believe that perhaps some new positions should be created to assist in the marketing and organisation of events, the collaboration of our efforts to reach goals etc. I would of course be more than happy to be leader of the habibs.

I would love to be part of this. Possum was a hero of mine, and I would like to do a cruise like this. I can even strap a possum to my bonnet!

Possum passed away this morning. I honestly have tears in my eyes. Possum was and has been a personal hero of mine for years. I used to watch in admiration as he made that subaru fly. she has not been charged with anything. technically she did not do anything wrong. It is not illigal to ride in the boot of the car it seems, so the nsw government has asked the rta to write up an amendment to the law. The police have yet to speak to the poor girls.. She was not drunk either, which is good because as we all know drinking and driving is naughty.....

I cant give you the technical reasons, but I have been told during discussions with a engine builder that once the engine has full oil pressure you should start driving it. Gently of course (off boost). I would guess this allows for the oil to start flowing properly, heat up more evenly etc.

I agree completly.. The aweareness needs to start with the parents and family. I know when my sis gets her P's I am gonna get her out on the skid pan with aaron mcgill a few times.
