Yeah the ADR's are also available on www.ajc13b.com (i think its .com). the problem is that its alot of documentation, we should get people to summarise parts of it so its easy to reference if you have to.. I would love to get a Car Enthusiasts guide to defects published, I think if everyone had one in their car the police would have a more educated "customer" base.

There is countless posts on this forum where people have felt they are victimised for being a car enthusiast. There is many sides to the story and different attitutues. I think we should all start working together, in a group effort to raise awareness to this treatment and to wake the police force up. I have no problem with the defect system that the police have, I just dont like the way its used. Rust buckets and other dangerous cars continue to move around our streets with out interuption, however many of us with very tidy and legal cars fear taking them out. There is two sides of the coin, we need to ensure that everyone knows what the laws are. If you have been defected you either knew your mod was illigal or you didnt know.. simple. So we should be working on a way to get the infomation to the people. Once everyone is armed with knowledge we can easily fight the police, beat them at their own game. If they pull us over and say its a defect and its not then we can tell them so.. Its time to send letters to the governing bodies, its time to speak to the police and maybe even work with them. We need to show them how we are not all hoons and then need to show us how they have agendas other than revenue rasing. So who is with me, who has suggestions on what to do. Who has contacts in magazines, and news papers. Please post it all here and we can work together. Other wise this post will fall to the depths of the forums with all the other threads about us getting victimised. DrCarlo

The egg smell is from the sulfer used in the fuel. BP Ultimate & Optimax come from the same manufacturing plant. This plant uses oil from overseas which has a lower sulfer content. However Ampol & Caltex & Mobil use a local oil mix which has a higher sulfer content.. hence the eggy smell.

The reasons macquarie is so bad is because so many other places now use ticketed parking. Macquarie is one of the last ones to put in this system.
