If your really paranoid then get your self a tracking system, thats the only way to keep an eye on your car 24x7. A black wired alarm is a good idea, but they could tow the car away. Having multiple sirens on the car is a top idea, spend the time to install them and put one outside the car. Make sure your alarm has a tilt sensor so if its on the back of a tow truck the alarms will be going postal!

I used famous for a while, however became very frustrated with their very poor customer service. I have since changed to shannons. (not an option for those who use their skylines as daily drivers)

With all due respect. factory alarms are a bit of a joke. It would be easy for them to figure out how they work as all s14's would have them. I would rather buy my car with no alarm from factory and invest in getting a full 3point black wired system installed. Sorry to hear of your loss, I hope your car is found in good condition.

Aplex.. I dont mean to shite on your parade.. But be carefull with the cops. To say they are fine unless your speeding is not accurate. The palm beach locals are really anti cruises these days. As soon as they hear 1 loud exhaust they hit auto-dial and call in the cops. If your lucky normal cops rock up and they are awesome (edit: okay.. most of them are okay. Some of them are ego maniacs). They will just tell you to move on and thats that. Most of us have been cruising up to palm beach for years. The cops have even put notes on the number plates of my car and a few others saying that we dont get up to any trouble. I am just trying to stress the importance that those going to Palm Beach really behave, otherwise the cops will come down really hard on you all. Since I dont know you guys I will prolly give it a miss. p.s.. Your car is stock (I saw in the dyno thread) so you can get away with more. hehe

Guys.. Firstly DONT TALK ABOUT WHAT ALARM YOU HAVE ON THE FORUMS! no doubt car theives have computers and can look at these forums. Telling the world what kind of alarm you have will only make it easier for them to break into your car. Your alarm should be a 3 point system, black wired and installed by someone who knows what they are doing. It took over 6 hours to install the alarm in my car, and it was not cheap. If you spend less than $1000 bucks then your not getting a decent system. Look around at your options, if your really worried then their is tracker systems on the market. SKYR34, it's fantastic that you got your car back. sorry to hear that it has damage but no doubt that will be easily fixed. What you should do now is go to a workshop / auto electrician and get him to repair the damage. Then go out and get a good alarm system. Also, do you type like that on purpose? It makes communication very awkward.

This turbo is awesome.. It spools up very fast and gives the car some serious punch.. Would be a good idea to get a new fuel pump at least. PowerFC would be a good move.

My girlfriend wants a skyline, and will get one soon. She does not mind me working on mine as she knows I enjoy it and figures that she will have a mechanic to service her car! haha Thing is.. I spent alot of time with my girlfriend.. Thats the idea of a relationship. She is more important than the car, but everyone has hobbies and thats what you need to accept about your partner. if your girlfriend is winging that you dont spend time with her then perhaps you dont.. *starting to sound like Dr Phil*

Urm.. probably the wrong place to be asking your question. Go to a panel shop and ask them where you can get a new front bar, they usually have contacts for getting new and 2nd hand panels / parts.

I would make it earlier... if you make it 8 then we wont eat until 9
