  1. ok so do u think it would be right to run with out the dampener ? as all other rb 20 rails ive seen dont have them unless as mines a 93 its diferent?

  4. hi guys trying to track down the same fuel rail as i pulled out as all rails ive found for sale have only one regulator where as mine seems to have two? is this normal for my model or has some one changed it before and put i different one if?

  7. still looking for a rail had a few offers but they have only had one regulator where as my standard on has 2 ??? still looking for a tank and when i find one i'll know what pump i need?
  8. hi guys got rust in my fuel tank so i wanna replace my fuel rail for an 93 r32 gtst, fuel tank either gtr tank as ive heard there plastic or gtst one and a pump setup for either. if any one has suitable parts or know of anyone selling please give them my number or contact me on here thanks located in newcastle nsw Troy 0400303852

  11. thx mate fatz was either of those fuel step us used with this tank? as in could i make a complete setup for my r32 gtst with what u got? as then i might to interested in such items also as me fuel pump will probably need replacing one day soon also as of the amount of rust in tank? im going to try and clean up my fuel rail and gott my injectors into be cleaned atm.
  12. gday guys well at first i thought it was an ecu related problem due to water leak in sunroof. but turns out i was wrong as i pulled out the injectors and they were blocked pretty bad, there only standard injectors but in getting them professionally cleaned for $200 sound alright or worth getting new ones?? so ive heard the gtr fuel tank is plastic which should remove the problem but i havnt been able to find if it fits in my gtst and what kind of pump setup i would need. i think it would be wise due the the amount of rust seen in tank to replace pump too? so what pump should i replace with? and the guys that are cleaning my injectors said they cant clean the rail in there machine? is there a way of cleaning it? as it wouldnt be any where near as bad due to been after the filter although i only change the filter when i noticed the missfire and cut the old filter in half and i was full of SHIT so the last owner hadnt changed it in a long time! any advice on the best way to fix this problem and if any one has any parts to sell me to fix this as im stuck with out a car until i can track down parts. and may haft to buy an old 4wd or somting in the mean time as im that stuffed for transport atm unless i covert the motor in my old gazelle to the ca18 i got in the shed but thats a another hassle haha any thoughts appeciated.

  16. any one done this since then im intrested in doing the same due to a belived internal rust issue in my gtst tank save cleaning old one out might replace withs gtr tank?
  17. gday mate if u dont sell the fuel tank im interested as i heard gtr tanks are plastic and i have a gtst that i think has a internal rust issue, heard its a possible swap/solution any one heard if this is true also?

  19. hi guys just woundering if any one in newcastle has an standard r32 ecu i can borrow just to swap over with mine to see if its the problem as cyliynder 3 isnt firing and ive run out of things to check and water was known to of gotten into ecu wringing loom. ????? thx
  20. ok so i pulled the computer out the other night to see if i could run a self diagnostic, could quit figure out if my ecu had leds to flash codes so i gave up on that. i had the computer siting on me passengers floor still and i started seemed to be running on all six again so as i jumped out of the car i closed the door causing the cylinder to drop out momentarily so i went and taped the wiring loom going to the ecu each time causing a cylinder to drop out, i the proceeded to try to find out which wire was causing the assumed bad connection with no luck and what seemed to be multiple cylinders to drop put!!! keep fiddling and got all to come back but stil unsure which wire repeated this process a number of time and still no result!? can doing this somehow damage something or confuse the computer???? as it would be registering fault codes on the ecu wouldnt it?
  21. since my last post i have determined its cylinder 5 not firing ive checked the coils and the plugs and there fine. as im an electrician not a mechanic i took it to one he checked the same and the injectors again all good but determined the coil plug was not getting enough voltage on the primary side??? i was also told it was supposed to be 2.5kv?? i dont know of a mutli-meter that tests this high? but was assured it was not jumping to the block when they tried to get it to. and to take it to an auto electrician. so i was wondering if any one had a wiring diagram that i could use to try and find the fault or any ideas on what it could be??? or more on how it works to assit me fixing the problem cheers
