I'm in need of coil packs for my series 1 R33 GTST. Now heres the problem the engine was replaced before I purchased the car. I don't know if the engine is a series 1 or 2. I've read in the forsale section where members do put down infomation regarding the coil packs and if they are one or the other series. Are the coils pack different? If they are, what is the difference? How can I tell if my engine is S1 or S2 If there is a difference but compatible, would there be an advantage to use one over the other? Looking forward for your feedback guys n gals LONG LIVE SAU

Wow I was half pissed putting this topic up and totally forgot about it. Just snooping around I found my own topic. Thank god I did syfon I love it. That is hot, for me I don't care what any1 thinks that totally speaks for itself. My next modd will be this even if it's just a cover, its no different spraying your skyline into a nice holden or ford colour. As for ppls that seem to like to keep aussie muscle and jap cars separate hey we evolved from our motoring history and respect it, maybe we shouldnt have spoilers, flares etc on our skylines aswell...... pull your finger/s out and loosen up its a car, not a young teen sleeping with grandpa Thanks for the info syfon I'll get onto it and post some pics as soon as its finished.

hey dude, I've done 2 years in tafe first pre app in autobody refinishing then another year as mature age trade certificate this was in 1998. If its anything like what it was then I'd have to say exactly what are you looking for do want a show finish, forget it then, if want all panels that have been removed to sit right again then forget it, if you want your prep work done well forget it, However if your looking for just an average job yeah it's ok, will do, its not that cheap too, back then it cost a full repray around $1300-$1800. so if your not fussed too much yeah its ok if you want heads turning nah, if you go ahead with it remove all valueables from the car including cds, coins etc. Another thing would be time, It will take longer to spary aswell for inexperience is a problem. Best bet will be to ask when the 3rd year apprentices are comming there not too bad and will do a half decent job

I'm not sure about how old it is I purchased it damaged (minor) however I'm replacing the radiator anyway this week to an ally I've taken off the heater hose but no water seems to be going there at all. I have a gready inlet manifold on the beast so the thermostats hard to get to so will have to wait for mechanic. to sort it. hm radiator cap will replace that too thnxxxx all LONG LIVE SAU

Oh SH#TTTT my car is overheating........ Ok ere's the story 1 - car accident 2 - car repaired 3 - got 2nd hand radiator 4 - rad flush to the best I could 5 - radiator fitted 6 - filled coolant 7 - started car drove for 15 minute gauge needle on top hhhhhhhot 8 - overheating, top radiator hose boillling 9 - however bottom rad hose cold as so I don't know what it is can someone help. Now I rather try to get help and not to pay a fortune, my thoughts are thermostat failed blocking waterflow, fan not spinging, water pump seized (but no unusual noise), radiator blocked water can''t circulate hmmmmmm. I want my baby on the road finally had enough of it just getting towed from one place to another fudge Anyway feedback would be great cheer

Hi guys having problems trying to find where my hoses fit on to my carbon canister. The car is a 2 door R33 series 1 1994 (oh she'z sexy ) My car had front end damage when I purchesed it and the canister had been removed/crumbled before I had seen it to compare. So I purchased a nose front cut I got from a series1, 4 door which had a cannister on it, now I'm thinking it maybe different cos all pipes seem to be shaped to fit specific places how ever I have one hose that just dont have a place to go, just wondering if my last 2 days of looking was a waste of time and that my actual problem was a wrong carbon cannister fitted. Will be great to see pics if anyone has any of different types pls pls pls heeeeeeeeelp pls

Hey just got back my car from the panel beaters it's ready for paint in the enginebay, but I feel slack chasing codes, so I ask the wise ones at SAU (LONG LIVE SAU) nissan skyline r33 1993/4 My cars paint code is kh3 k(black) I'm assuming that the engine bay colour is not faded but either matt or semi-gloss

thats right max, wax after a few weeks.... my mistake as for 2k clear over acrylic. I have tried it many times never worked, clear always peels off or cracks. But however ever I use cheap no brand name acrylic and use ppg 2k high solids clear, so that may result in the peeling of the clear, could it?, I have let it wait over the weeks still the same.
-
2K clear will peel off after a few months, use acyl. clear 7-8 medium coats dont let the coats fully dry when spraying the next coat....... make sure coats arent dry sprayed (hard to get runs on acrylic unless you bomb it on)........ once finish empty out spraygun do not rinse fill up with thinners and spray 3 more coats( carefull thinners will run if sprayed medium/think).... let sit under sun after cutback 1500 wet.... buff 3 times 1 pure cut n polish 2 wet cut polish 3 water only possible cream polish...make sure pad is always clean or will not work.... if u have babypowder last buff(4) with that for a show finish..... wash soapy water, dry let sit under sun 1 day then wax or paint will not be protected...... Thats how we do showcar finishes.... just let everyone know the secrets..... spraypainters will hate me
