    Not asking for an all out war betwwen the diehards. Just some further assistence in my turbo choice from you guys in the know. I mean i currently have the stock t25g, thats plain bearing and spools early, just lacks power........

    good read thanks mate....... Oh and if i put in a well matched set of cams to bring the boost in earlier would the lag that may be associated with the trust turbo be eliminated. Obviously tuning would also assist.

    Hey just wondering if anyone could give me the pros/cons of ball bearing and plain bearing turbos. I am currently in the market for a new turbo and can't decide between the TRUST T518Z and the HKS GT2530. Will the trust turbo be as durable as the HKS? And will the bearing type dramatically effect spool-up time and the lagginess of the turbo? Any assistence would be greatly appreciated. cheers.

    Hey i'm about to buy a new turbo for my 93 sr20det silvia. Just wondered what you guys thought would be the best streetable turbo. I was thinking a HKS 2530 or 2540. I don't want a race car, or a drag car just something that will spool up quikly and do mid 12's. I'm open for any suggestions provided they meet all my criterea.. thanks guys.

    .....will restrict reving, and i will need to have my engine re-balanced correct? = big money.....if i only want a daily driver i though s15 pistons would be a cheaper alternative. And it ticked ever since i got it from japan, turns out yes the engine was cooked and one piston couldn't expand anymore so it got a mil or 2 longer, making it tick everytime the piston went up and tapped the bore.

    Just wondering if the pistons in the s13, '93 , are the same size as the s15 ones? As i need a new set and was going to order them from Nissan, just wanted a heads up in case they wern't compatible.

    my bro always sh$ts on wrexies, he drives a mazda gtr 4 wheel drive also with about 20-30 g's under the bonnet......i love the looks on their faces when his, stockish-looking, granny-car eats them.......priceless!
