hey, got some idle issues in my 32 gtst, after reading through pages of other peoples issues ive gone through a few such as cleanin afm and aac etc wondering if i could put my stock afm back in(its running and tuned for z32 with nistune) if i roll up to the lights in neutral it idles okay but as soon as i stop the revs climb everytime, around 1500 - 1900 sometimes. on a few occasions it idles rough all drive but 99% of the time the idle is smooth from cold start up to warm just high cheers guys

hey guys, bought a kaixen hid xenon light system for my 93 32 gtst of a trader on either skylines au or nissan silvia. I was told the kit he sent is the right one for my car but according to the auto sparky i went to this is the wrong kit. its a k2 ballast type. h11 lamp type at 6000K any ideas on what car its made for and if i need a whole new kit, cos i cant see jack from my headlights at the moment haha

cheers mate will see how i go, do u think ill need to put the green label afm back on, i put a z32 so its still nissan and i took off the orange label, might even stick the green label onto it instead. good luck with that, one car is enough of a head f**k with that place lol

cheers mate, yeh took out the ebc solenoid and just couldnt be bothered taking out all the hosing, cos its going straight back in haha

will i need to put the cover that sits above the coilpacks back on? and can i just join the two hoses that go out to my ebc together instead of doing it at the actuator?

ive had 0 demerit points 0 crashes and i was casually driving from home to my destination i took hackney road cos its the city bypass, i changed gears under 3000rpm cop heard a small tssh and thought i must have just released a bajillion dirty import germs into the atmosphere which will slowly kill his children. ive had no trouble with police b4 this, only prior defect i just got with i was going down the bay got pulled into a defect station and my car was too low, took it on the chin and learnt 2 lessons, dont drive down jetty road and keep the outside looking legal.

if it was hackney road it was my gtst and i got done cos they heard my stock bov venting through the pod filter haha\ hating life right now

yeh he just kept going around in circles it was painful to try and have a civilized conversation. just a quick question to make sure i havn't misunderstood anything, you can still hear the bov through the pod filter even if its plumbed back properly right? cos he said "i could hear it which makes me suspect that its illegal." I dont want to take the issue too far and be made out like an idiot either haha

called up the cop shop, managed to get a call back from the one who defected me. like he was ever going to admit he was wrong. said that it was factory in japan not factory in australia, then wen i proceeded to ask why compliance dont remove them he told me compliance ppl are dodgy blokes. i told him if i block the blow off valve it will recirculate it and result in a flutter, offered to show him with a trusty bottlecap too lol

got defected for 100% stock bov, i asked the cop why its not removed at compliance and told him it recently passed regency exactly as is. i was not at all rude or arrogant and was not speeding or even accelerating hard.

haha thats the same site i was looking at, cheers it seems like its definitely an rb20 turbs though how disappointing. need to find a turbo b4 8 am tomorrow

do any of the rb25 turbos have 16v on them, me thinks this is an rb20 but not sure, spoke to the guy and he said if it is he will give me the money back ( neither of us are sure what it is though) is any selling an rb25 turbo in SA lol

not a gtr unfortunately, i just hacked the other guys thread haha. the guy said inc all that stuff, guess ill find out tomoz, ill replace nething that needs replacing, the old turbo was working fine and holding boost nicely though

fingers crossed it doesn't but ill let you guys know on how it all goes tomorrow night (hopefully). did anybody know that there were two types of nistune? and one cant be edited or something like that. according to jaustech they cant remap jeff's nistune. can anyone explain this for me. i would have thought he'd tell me that his was a different tune

he wanted 600 jaustec 450 but couldnt fit it in and southern 350 tomorow

getting southern hi tech dyno to do i think, boost worx was a lil bit on the expensive side for me
