  3. spotted that nice black 34 gtt at unisa west car park this morning. I was in the 32
  4. yeh good idea, thanks for that mate
  5. thanks mate, yeh it doesnt look to hard its just more or less the i dont wana screw it up factor i think ill give it a crack on the monday and see how i go. do i need a tune after the fuel pump install?
  6. hey, just wondering if any one could tell me how hard it is to install this, or if any body would b willing to lend me a hand sometime. name your price too if your willing to help
  7. its alright i found ze problemo, there was a small leak in one of the hoses, just didnt look hard enough the first time lol.
  8. i must have it wired up wrong or something, ive tried everything, and the auto sparky who installed it was sure he set it up right, are you running it through port 2 and 3 with the first one empty?
  9. haha thanks, i was told it was 10 by a few people so i was a bit confused ive tried everyway the boost controller can be set up, looks like ill have to spend some more time trying to figure it out, serves me right for not going for the profec
  10. spark plugs fixed the misfire, but the boost controller just doesnt control the boost, it pushes past 16 psi! runs fine if i use the same hoses but instead of going into the solenoid i just put them back into each other like an extended version of how they are normally set up, runs 11 - 12 psi though
  11. well i got my spark plugs changed and the car is running well when im not using the boost controllers solenoid, still around 12 but i can deal with that for now. as soon as i put the vacuum hoses to go through the ebc's solenoid and take it for a drive the boost shot up to like 16 psi and was going to keep going untill i took my foot off the accelerator. im 99% sure its wired up correctly, the ebc is a hdi sbc d or something, the one that comes with the really bright boost gauge, also if the key is turned on the acc should the boost guage be reading a number? if so what number, thanks
  12. thanks mate that gives me a bit of relief haha, thought i bought i dodgy boost controller, wasted 350 bucks. ill run it the actuautor and see what happens, thanks guys
  13. thanks guys yeh runnin full exaust and fmic but that shouldnt see it newhere near 12 should it? am i doin ne damage driving around at 12 psi or will the engine start leaning out
  14. hey hey i got a hdi electronic boost controller with a boost guage n had it installed, after that was having issues with misfire and other things. i then wired it up so i bypassed the boost controllers solenoid i thought this would run stock boost but now its running 12.5 which is way too high considering its on lowest setting. any idea as to why its running so high?
  15. spark plugs and coil packs man, i got a similar issue, might need to gap the plugs down or change the temp range if you just upped the boost a lil bit
  16. thanks mate, yeh mine hit 16 psi yesterday after i thought id fixed it although it didnt feel like it was pushing 16 psi. i got some spark plugs will put them in on sunday. only want to run 10 or 11 psi at the moment too
  17. I mean the clutch pedal. Obviously
  18. also the actual boost control unit gets really hot. at the moment its located on the floor next to clutch out of the sun aswell
  19. yeh thats what i was thinking, with the fouled plugs. well now it should be running stock boost cos i set it up bypassing the ebc's solenoid, when i had the ebc on the boost kept going up rapidly even tho it was on the lowest setting, it hit 14 at one stage
  20. Hello, I just installed a HDI electronic boost controller for my r32 GTST but am having issues with it. When on boost (5k rpm) the car will cut out and make loud sounds from the exhaust. (misfire?) The EBC was installed by an auto electrician so hopefully we can eliminate a wiring issue. Before I installed the EBC the car was fine, boosting to correct levels. I've attempted to change the setup back to normal. Leaving the EBC in the car but bypassing the EBC solenoid which initially fixed the problems but since has stopped working properly. What could the issue be? Spark plugs? I've searched the forums but can't find a matching issue to mine. (brb flame proof suit)
  21. lol melted pistons, better get down to mtq then. cheers mate
