    Off-topic, but. Do you know if the preset front/rear torque split on the R33 means that the transfer case wears out quicker or it doesn't matter?

    They are identical. GTR and GTST both have the rear wiper unless the GTR is a "Nismo Edition"

    89 GTR (yep one of those) Would have been $20,000 on the road, except the broker I used convinced me that SEVS compliance was coming soon, so I initially got a late 1990 GTR, long story short, I got rid of that one at a loss, and imported my 89. So $22,000.

    RB20DET - 1989 to 1993 in the R32 Skyline SR20DET - 1991 to 2002 in the Silvia ^^ costs 3x as much because it's a newer engine. Why put money into an RB20DET when an RB25DET provides a better platform?

    I would go the grey/silver one. Black looks great... ...for about 5 minutes after you wash it, then it takes on a brown sheen!

    Personal choice. I would want more than $10,000 set aside for an RB30DET conversion just to be safe. There's a lot of machining and custom stuff to get the RB30 right, whereas you can almost literally "drop" the RB25DET in.
