Well, compliance costs $4000 more than a 15 year car. Plus by definition a SEVS vehicle has no chassis damage, so is likely to be a cleaner example. So depending on the FOB price, a 1994 R32 is worth at least $5000 more than a 15 year stock one.

I reckon prices will go up, up, up! Now that R32's aren't as appealing for their ridiculously cheap prices (due to the 15 year rule), the R34s will become more popular, and better value for money than SEVS R32's

No, it's just that they turn back the clock (odometer) to less than 100,000 because it looks better when trying to sell. They have actually done more. But also, the timing belt needs to be changed every 100,000 KMs and it's a couple of hundred dollars, maybe they're too cheap to get it done.

1989 GTR Had it 6 months. Needed new "upper control arms" whatever that is. Had the timing belt replaced Nothing really gone wrong. Has this "tap tap" sound when cold and when not under throttle. Mechanic says it's probably shims and not to worry about it. Pulls hard, drives smooth. Some new tyres would be nice, but they're so exxy! Petrol is not too bad. 400km to a tank.
