Poor Nissan, spending all that money on the RB26DETT when they could have listened to you and just stuck with the single turbo setup!
And the R32 GTR came out in 1989, which is only 15 years ago.
:bs!:
And clearly BMW engineers have no f*cking idea because they are developing a twin-turbo inline-6 setup:

Is it a NISMO Edition GTR? I know the NISMO ones came with no rear wiper and some other slight differences, maybe they also had no ABS - because I don't think something that aids drivers would be allowed under racing rules.

*edit*
Actually yes, I'm sure that's it.
Here's 2 of them on Prestigemotorsport, they only have the 2 wires you mentioned. Compare them to "normal" R32 GTRs that have the 5.
Nismo 1
Nismo 2
Way, way more Ks. Look at Aussie cars with 100,000-150,000Kms. They don't show anywhere near that sort of wear. Plus the R32 Skyline had pretty good build quality (except for the air vents, LOL), which is pretty darn durable.
Sigh. I initially bought a 1990 GTR in 2003 because SEVS compliance was "2-3 months away". 6 months later, still no sign.
Then I got a 1989 GTR under the 15 year rule in 2004...
1. They don't know about the site initially
2. They buy their Skyline
3. They think "I want to discuss my car with others with experience"
4. Post-purchase dissonance "I think I paid too much for this car, I hope my Skyline online buddies will make me feel better by telling me it's a good buy"
I think OZ spec ones had their reverse lights (where the plate goes) removed, and the indicators (between the brake lights) turned into reverse lights.
If you want plates to fit without bending them, get the "USA" style plate as it's narrower.
Don't listen to the people that say all these measures are useless. It's not helpful, as it implies you may as well leave the windows down, the doors unlocked and the keys in the ignition than to bother with car security.
Instead, I believe in taking as many measures as you feel comfortable with:
alarm
immobiliser
tilt sensor
club lock
wheel clamp
GPS tracking
keypad
sticker warning of alarm
Sure it does mean something.
So for all Skylines in Japan or just from Japan:
Thrashed by Japs
So for all Skylines in Australia from Japan:

Thrashed by Aussies

Hey if you can take some of the thrashing out it's got to be a good thing.
I'll tentatively agree with the regional argument.
There's no meeting of points in the following argument:
(QLD guy) "Optimax is more responsive and has better fuel economy here"
(Vic guy) "No, BP Ultimate is more responsive and has better fuel economy"
OK I got mine towed.
You can roll the dice on your car not doing the oil change if you want. It's your car, it's your choice.
Engine oil is one of the most critical engine components and I don't consider it worth the risk.
