  1. Hey guys, I need two shades of grey vinyl wrap. Does anybody know some not over the top shops who sell this stuff? I need the sheets to be about 600 wide and probably 1.5 - 3m in length. Matt finish too. I can find the stuff everywhere on eBay but need it by the weekend so prefer someone close to Parramatta that I can pickup from. Had a browse in the trader section for business traders, seems we've got no one!
  2. Let me know when you plan to get rid of them and how much. I plan to get rid of my coilovers. Too hard for my liking. Do you have good ground clearance?
  3. Do you have a wideband? Is she leaning?
  4. Does anybody here have an r33 gtst with a 3inch exhaust and the diff back section sits above the lowest point of the diff? If so can you upload photos?
  5. Hi all just a little query. I've got HSD's on my car(the green/black ones). I've read some places suggesting that the height can be controlled by the preload and by the lowering and raising the cylinder tube. Now the way the car is sitting is lower than standard height and lower than my friends R33 which sits on BC coilovers. I wanted to raise the car up a little more but what what I recall theres only about an inch of thread left in the lower mount. Is it unsafe to wind them out a little further? Is there any other way to get a little more ground clearance out of this?
  6. How much was the bond? I think you're being taken for a ride. DO NOT sign anything. I'm going to assume these are aluminium doors since you said they're sliding doors. Put it this way, if the thing is aluminium, it can be taken apart. They're not welded. They're held together with simple fasters which can be undone so if glass is ever broken, it can be replaced easily. A scratch too. What an insult, tell him to prove you guys put the scratch there. How on earth do you scratch glass unless you went at it with sandpaper, diamond bits, knives or used it as a walking surface??? We have had glass doors here for nearly 12 years, 7 people in and out, not a single scratch on them.
  7. Car isnt slammed. The rollers fit under the car while way around except where the exhaust is. Only abticipate about 270rwkw at most on 19psi My brother has an aes exhaust on his rotor. Ill bang a photo up of hiw my exhaust currently sits. I saw a big standard skyline parked on the side o the road. The way the factory exhaust sots is awesome. There are body components of the vehicle which hang lower. Im confident this can be achieved.
  8. I've got two japanese exhaust. One HKS which is essentially 3.5" the entire way. There is no mid anything. Its 3.5" all the way to the milo tin. My objectives here are the exhaust sitting tight in the car, flow and lastly sound. I don't want anything near as loud as this HKS Hi Power Silent, which is pretty quiet for a loud exhaust, the Nismo I am using now sounds awesome but just dangles like an old mans sacks. I'll make some calls tomorrow but I imagine phone calls won't yield many results.
  9. The two components I would like to use in the system are the american Hooker aero chamber as the mid muffler, and retaining my nismo end muffler. Ben on here pumps 300kw if I recall and comes in at 86db at the revs they check down in SA. He uses a hooker aero chamber and a berklee straight through. This Nismo muffler is huge and flows well but the mid muffler in this exhaust is quite small.
  10. Can a something which flows very well and under legal sound limit be built for under a grand?
  11. Hey all, I'm going to need to get my exhaust tweaked. By that I mean it hangs so low its not funny. Its a Nismo exhaust and the lowest part of my car is the exhaust it self. I took it to a shop and all I got from him was "Your car is too low". My car sits well above 100mm everywhere else, its just the exhaust. Hell even my HKS exhaust(which I swapped out with this Nismo) sat much higher, but 1cm too low near the diff from the huge flange HKS use. Is it possible to raise the height of the exhaust by shortening the dump and shortening the hangers? The dump scrapes, the 5" body cat scrapes and the rear of my exhaust near the diff scrapes. The car is sitting on HSD's which I think are wound as high as they can go. I have no clearance issues apart from this damn exhaust. I am thinking of having the mid muffler on the Nismo ripped out and a hooker aero chamber fitted in the guts while having the exhaust raised. My brother would have done it but he only has gear to weld aluminium. If anyone can suggest a shop around sydney with quick turn around, that would be great. Would I be better off getting a custom exhaust made? I know which parts I want to use, I just want the exhaust to sit tighter to the car. Theres room nearly everywhere.
  12. Ive got a different type of clamp on every connection in my ic piping. 19psi and nothing has ever popped off. Ling long turbos. I love it. Stall on stop could be a leak, reversion or atmo vent. Man you're driving a Frankenstein. Honestly if i was you id sell it and buy another car. A gts shell with an rb25det will get you into all hell with the law. Brakes, suspension, registration info will all be out of whack with this motor in that shell.
  13. Car passed. Nismo exhaust came in just under with some packing. The workshop suggested the cop did actually have no leg to stand on in regards to the pod filter enclosure and said the current setup is fine. He told me to clean all the engine crud off the engine too. He also said i need to get my exhaust mounts shortened to raise the exhaust and since the ground clearance was not on the list he let it go.
  14. Although I was not defected for ground clearance, this nismo exhaust sits awfully close to the ground. He did the roll test and I was about 1cm from clearing his roller. This nismo exhaust sits about a whole inch lower than the diff. The lowest point of my car is the damn exhaust and my car isn't lower than stock! You could fit your head under my front bumper!
  15. Ok just fitted on the nismo exhaust. With this turbo setup theres no way in hell i can fit the standard box in there without fab work to the induction pipe. Ive got a work cat and the car is quiet as shit now. This steel wool trick, do you stuff it behind the cat? Would it melt? Ill try my luck with the updated enclosed pod. If no dice the wool i the exhaust and hit up wolverine for the stock box. Thank f**k its only a partial inspection for the two ticked items. Also whats the go with being fined for the pod filter and not the exhaust? I was defected for the exhaust and pod, and fined because my pod was not enclosed. AFAIK I thought you could not be fined and this is the whole purpose of a defect notice, to give you time to fix an issue. Why was I fined for the pod filter and not for the exhaust?
  16. Johnny i cant send you a pm.but ill take this. Hang onto it if i can grab it tonight after work ill come. Edit.consider it sold. It will be gone tonight.
  17. Who built your exhaust and how much did it set you back? I cant comprise flow for sound too much
  18. Ive got a nismo exhaust ill whack on since it is quite quiet comoared to my hks. But i doubt its within legal limits
  19. Well after driving a skyline for 6 years in the shit parts of sydney, I finally got pulled over and defected for my enclosed pod filter(which wasn't properly enclosed) and aftermarket exhaust. I asked the guy where can I take the car to fix this and he said any place which does pink or blue slips. Is this correct? Does anyone know where I can get a proper enclosure for my pod? These things we make here are no good, the cop will pry things into the box to get it open and sneak his camera in there. Anybody have a stock exhaust? Its a minor defect, I got 5 driving days left. Need to get this one fixed asap. Any info would be good.
  20. I've got this exhaust. I dont see it as restrictive since its essentially a hollow tube the whole way.
  21. I thought it might be something like that so i tested some solder in another piece of wire near me and it worked. Even the brand new wire from the pimp wouldn't take solder. Ended up crimping. My solder has flux on it and my point will take solder without beading it.
  22. Pretty sure that bit of metal is a pin clip. You need to fold the pin clip straight and remove it BEFORE you remove this bolt or you will break the pin clip. I used a normal spanner with a long pipe. Never had any issues.
  23. I thought the GSS341 and 342 were fine to use with ethanol fuels. The packaging suggests they're suitable for gasoline and gasohol fuels.
