  1. depends totally on tyre size ? once you find the original tyre size , use the http://www.kouki.co.uk/utilities/visual-tyre-size-calculator , this will calculate rolling diameters
  2. Everyone buys them for one reason , because there cheap ass imitations to the 350z and probably just as slow and heavy to drive . I know i work for Nissan
  3. ive got +12 offset 9.5 , they just fit max out , also staggered fitment is the wrong way to go on a GTR , keep it same all the way around .
  4. For old men who cant afford 350z s. lolz
  5. Wistow to goolwa - thats a mad road im there ! Camelot castle ? is that on lobethal rd ,
  6. hey guys , what are the best winding roads in S.A to have a squirt on , in my skyline ! ...........Just for a cruise heres mine ,(blackwood) corromandel parade rd > main rd > grants gully rd > mclaren flat rd (mclaren vale)
  7. i live in Adelaide and bought in Queensland , have a good look around
  8. i just didnt want to use tap water at all because of Adelaide water , i think tap water will be hard to get rid of fully and will cause rust quicker than demineralised . i was going to flush through the heater hose using a flush kit , but have you seen where the hoses are located , not possible someone out there must know the best way .
  9. i used 10 x 4 litre bottles of demineralised water and flushed 7 times and still getting rusty block water coming out . owned
  10. When im uploading/posting pictures onto this site with my computer ( Powerbook Pro ) I-Mac, it always reduces the pic , heres an example , i would love to post regular size pics , is it the site or my computer ....HELP its pissing me off !
  11. Original paintwork
  12. i thought SEVS/compliance was applied right across Australia , but there still are so many cars only with seat belt modifications ( only ) coming out of Queensland , so how do they get registered in the first place without the rest of the ADRs , is it because you only have to get a RWC for registration , in S.A we have to take to Regency for inspection by government officials - we get raped . lol
  13. it is irrelevant whether the car is registered or not in Australia, if a car is bought from Queensland and taken to another state it is treated as an import ,therefore compliance and full inspection , same as if it come straight off the boat . Its as if Queensland is not part of Australia and has its own bullshit rules which make them exempt from Australian Design Requirements , hence the modification plates - what crap !
  14. My rebuilt porsche 911 c2, its a totally different car to drive compared to anything else on the road , heres a pic , also been lucky enough to drive a R35
  15. "if its black it hasnt been looked after at all" - thats a ripper comment !! thats the oils job
  16. it is correct read it fully , its not all about brakes
  17. simple , you can pretty much tell by the interior, underbody , plenum , timing belt cover , service stickers ,big one ****** brake disc groove , if the kms are correct - its pretty obvious if your not sure dont buy it . Most people buy and then realise what they should have been looking for afterwards
  18. dont be a dick mate im trying to help this guy out
  19. This is my story hope it helps . i have just been through the ringer same thing as you , i bought my GTR 1990 in Queensland through a private seller , took it to Regency for an ID check , the blue plate does not mean shit in S.A they still do this in system in Queensland mine was done 6 months ago , In Queensland the minimum requirement is seatbelts hence the mod plate which will pass the vehicle inspection which is done by a local certified mechanic for RWC lol. At regency they told me to get an," exemption from compliance form" same as you , which was eventually sent to me describing in detail what works had to be carried out before i could send it in for a full inspection - crap. luckily for me my car was so stock it was running totally OEM . ,. Anyway my troubles started when i found out none of the Australian Design Rules had been carried out in Queensland - seat belts only , which means i had to carry out ADRs myself - side intrusion bars , child restraints (bullshit) , high mount stop light , leaded fuel restrictor (wank) because no one sells leaded anymore , list goes on and on and on , so im thinking how the f.... do i fix all this myself . Did what i could on the list and then got in contact with a guy on main north east rd to carry out the rest of the work , went to alot of trouble to find someone to comply my car , PM if you want his name and number as this guy is a legend does great ADR work good prices also sends it through regency himself ! Cost me $2500 includes inspection cost ,but he did heaps of quality work and that was with a stock car . I tried getting the left over rego money back in Queensland , but was totally f...kd around , they told me i would have to pay stamp duty again in Queensland and fill out a new customer form WTF ! i gave up .i wish i kept the plates . I hope the ADRs are done already unlike my car , but dont panic until you get that exemption form listing all work reqiured on your car, and then panic .My car eventually was passed after my compliance guy took the car 3 times to regency inspection all in the same day after ball joints failed , wheel allignment failed , If you fail to pass the same day its another 300 bucks , compliance guy took all the stress out for me - legend ! Any questions Pm .
  20. kms kms kms kms kms kms ...............................................................
  21. here you go , the battery can crack down the side from being held by the bracket allowing gas to escape through the top seal , explosion caused by the gas mixed with air and the inrush current through the battery internally when starting . see it happen from now and then
