Hey guys, just completed the experiment of blocking off the bov however leaving some holes so that it can still be silent when you drive soft and flutter when you give it a bit... So far it went well... It took a couple of goes to get the right amount of small holes into the aluminum so that it would be at the right pressure but it seemed to have worked... I can see what you mean guys, when you say that I may need thicker aluminium due to the stress it will be under but we will see how it goes. Thanks for the offer krishy, however I'm trying to stay away from after market bov due to that being one of the first things cops look for when they pop your hood... Anyways... If people have been thinking of blocking their bov for the sound, maybe the way I have done it would be a good option... cheers

Hey fellas, Quick question... What about, if I did the Cole can trick, drilled a small whole in the centre of the aluminium... Would that mean it would only flutter a small bit or when I rev the shot out of it??? As I was thinking then when I drive it easy it won't flutter? Anyone know?

Het buddy, I blew mine the other day... I found that when you blow your dash fuse you actually blow your Rear lights fuse as they are the same fuse... (if that makes sense) It's in the boot near your battery... And it the TAIL LIGHT fuse... When your dash isn't working, it's telling you that you have no tail light either Well thats what happens on my 33

All fixed fellas... Thanks for all your help! Blew one of the fuses in the boot which i some how missed

Will take into account all ideas... First i will disconnect the battery then unplug all plugs into the alarm system put back together and re-connect battery... see if that works... If not, I think i might call an auto electrician.... If you know anyone that knows their stuff and wants some work please let me know as i need to have it fixed tomorrow so i can get to work on Monday Thanks for all your help guys!!!

Sorry guys, might also add... when i push my button on my keys the car also makes no sound and doesn't lock or unlock my doors

He Guys, I'm just about to roll my car off a cliff... luckly for the car, it won't start... unlucky for me I bought a new boost gauge today and found a small hole to run a small bit of pipe through to the cab area whick my alarm whires were running through also. I thought i would try make the hole a little bigger by drilling through without hitting my alarm wire... but i hit it!!!! The small back alarm box under the hood made a beep sound and them shut the whole car down I have tried everything... swearing, punching, kicking and screaming but none of that worked.... I tried pulling all the wires out of the alarm box under my dash but still nothing! There was a kill switch however when i pushed it the switch feel appart, so i decided to connect the wires together and by pass the switch. when the key is turned over nothing happens at all!!!!!!!!!! I spoke to a guy at Super cheap and he said that you can reset it by doing a buch of things but i couldn't find how on the net... Does anyone know anything with thius model???? Wanting to buy: R33 Cluster in complete working condition.... My tachometer has stopped working properly so i am replacing the whole cluster... If anyone has a spare (with no issues) please PM me with price and K's on clock Cheers!!!

Depends what your into! I have 4 wheel steer on my 33 and I love it!!!! I do alot of driving in the hills with some of the crew and if it wasn't for 4 wheel steer I would be wrapped around a tree by now!!! So have a think about it before you remove it all together!

Hey man, I have had the same problem for the past few months, it is driving me MAD!!!! I have ripped out the cluster and played around with what people have suggested but nothing seems to work!!! I think this one may be an issue under the bonnet! If anyone knows where to look and repair under the hood please let me / us know... PS. "Jetblack" if you have fixed yours bay now... please let me know... Cheers Jamie

There was one group of wires near it which was conected to a clip right on top of the heat shield... however i have moved it away... So i don't think it will melt anthing...

Hey Fellas, Just a quick one... Is there any cons to not having a heat shield over your turbo on a R33 Skyline? as I am thinking of leaving it off... and could I be defected? Cheers, Jamie
