  1. Who knows mate. Aint too fussed either way. Built my dream car with 300 killer wasps, so I'm not going to complain .... I've been told it is, and I've been told it isn't. It doesn't really phase me either way. Its kind of like discovering your girlfriend wasn't really a model for sports illustrated, but she still looks hot
  2. I actually like the low seating of the GTR seats. I have R33GTR seats in mine and am 5'11 and find it perfect. Its a pretty big difference from the regular seats, but I don't find the GTR seats stupidly low like some I've seen. Installed the Defi Boost Gauge today. Decided to mount a bracket and sit the gauge on it, just for something different. Don't know if it will be its permanent home. Double sided tape for now until I make my mind up. So far I love the position. Right in line with the cluster - easy to view. LOL my mechanic mate said "how you going to use the hazard lights?" So I simply tapped the gauge and on come the hazards I got mixed reactions from different mates on its position. Just experimenting, but its growing on me.
  3. Since when is selling someone broken goods nothing? I know your all a bunch of mates and will stick together cause "he's a good bloke" blah blah blah But it doesn't change the fact the gauge was broken. As for paying to get it installed - I have mates too, no charge.
  4. And when did you two start dating? I don't remember asking his bitch for comments? It wasn't $50 it was $60, as I kindly added $10 for postage which he didn't ask for. I have been more than fair waiting 2 weeks for a broken gauge. I don't want my money back either. If he needs $60 so badly as to rip people off, he can keep it. But I have ever right to warn others. Which I will gladly do. Should I go into the PM I sent asking (after waiting a week) would he kindly send it to my work place instead, as I am now back at work, to which I got no reply and it was sent to my house (a week later) and was on my door step when I got home. Yeah, top seller - highly recommended NOT!
  5. I was going to post pics of the Greddy boost gauge I got from FR33K, but he sold me a broken/damaged unit Went out today and picked up a nice Defi boost gauge with controller unit II THAT WORKS! I'll get it installed on Monday hopefully.
  6. I'll NEVER buy from this seller again. Got the boost gauge after waiting 2 weeks for it. Went and got it installed today, and its broken. Had a mechanic check it out, doesn't light up, it was dented, glass faded and the boost was broken. Total rip off! Thanks for nothing - I hope you enjoy the money.
  7. I'll take it if its still available. Tried sending you a PM, but getting some stupid message I can't PM until 3:15 ... I'll send one later today. Cheers.
  8. Its sorted, sent of some $$$ to fr33k yesterday for a nice Greedy gauge
  9. Niiice! Post up some pics when its done
  10. Why not drive a Hyundai, does the same thing as a Stagea ... Thanks for the info -RBD2-
  11. Does anyone know of a retailer in Melbourne who sells Japanese made boost gauges? I called up Hi Octane racing, they said they no longer stock brands like Defi, Apexi, Greedy and so on. They only stock TurboSmart? Forget FeeBay as I no longer trust buying from there. On the off chance anyone has a boost gauge for sale, consider it sold if its in good condition. Been searching the net and all I can find is retailers in NSW and QLD, 2 of which I called, who said on their website they have stock, but actually don't, of any brand .... Turning out to be a hard item to find. Appreciate the info. Cheers.
  12. I stopped buying from Japan ages ago. The parts are one thing, its like heaven. I would sit night after night going through Yahoo Japan like a kid in a lolly shop. Then I got the credit card statement and almost had a heart attack! Its true you get what you pay for, but bloody hell, you pay through the nose ordering from Japan. My days buying awesome Japanese parts are over. Unless financially I hit the jackpot, and then if I did, I'd rather go there myself and fill a container
  13. Probably not the best advice, but when I imported my 260RS it came with a horrible HKS triple plate clutch, that I absolutely hated. Mates called me a wuss and said I can't handle a real mans clutch. Until they ALL stalled it over and over. If stalling is your idea of a good time, then yeah, great clutch. I got rid of the HKS and got a single plate Nismo Coppermix clutch. This clutch is the boomshanka of clutches. I can come to almost a complete standstill in 2nd and it don't stall. City traffic? Not a problem. Its light, its easy and behaves like a standard clutch. I'm pushing 300 killer wasps in my car, and the Nismo Coppermix doesn't miss a beat. A wee bit pricey (I picked up mine online for cheap) but either way, worth every dollar. Do some research on them, I'm sure others can vouch for their goodness. A really great all rounder.
  14. There's no doubting some tender love and care has gone into this ride. Not to mention some serious hard earned .... Soz for picking a fault, but when you eye something this nice, any spot or blemish stands out like dogs balls. I'm sure in time you will grab something nice to complement the rims and complete the package.
