I wasn't jumping out to get it. I just took the other one out when I got home.

I was thinking of doing a new ad as this one may have become a bit "stale" My contract at work has been extended three times this year, so the trip overseas has been pushed back. Just to add some more confusion to the topic... I already had a powerduct and Blitz high flow panel filter and was getting the farting noise. Installed the new BOV (factory Nissan one) today and no more farting! Driven it for about an hour and all seems fine! See what happens over the next few days but it seems it was the BOV in my case

Hey that was me with the farting stagea, I was told it was most likely an issue with the bov, I've ordered a new Nissan one ($250) and was going get it fitted this week...... until the top tank on my radiator split..... So once I get my car back and get the BOV fitted I'll let you know. It's been a pretty long process and I'm hoping to get it all sorted before I drive to QLD at the end of the month. Cheers.

yep, it's the BOV ordering one through Ben and it should be all sorted. He's got a really nice black ARX in there, kinda wish I'd gone for one originally, the extra ride height would be nice......

Thanks, Haven't got the car with me today, can you access this from the top of the engine or do you need it up on a hoist?

Not sure what boost I'm getting, only have the factory gauge and haven't done the solder fix on the sender unit yet. It happens pretty erratically though, if it happens I can still get what "feels like" full boost the next time i'm accelerating hard i.e 2mins later. Thanks, Will

just a little update, had the dump and new front pipe fitted at Westside, so everything was tightened up around there and I'm still getting the noise. Nice increase in power though, feels pretty good through the mid range. Dropped it off to Ben at Northshore today & he thinks it's a blow off problem, so he's ordering a new one ($250?) Hope this can get it sorted!

good thing you wern't charging your hourly rate, if I remember correctly you got the diagnosis wrong..... I guess people like me are lucky there's enough people on this forum willing to give their knowledge and time for free to help fellow stagea owners......

spotted a silver axis (autech?) heading east on Bridge st in Sydney today at about 1:30. I was in the fugly holden sportwagon.

I have a fujitsubo legalis, but everything from the turbo to the cat is stock (til tomorrow anyway ) Hopefully I can sort it out tomorrow, was just checking it might not be anything else.
