First of all, even in 5-6-7 years stuff wont change, they will get better. A piston is a piston, conrod=con rod. Turbo might spool faster. A better computer might make an apperance. But all in all It will be the same thing. #2 I want all the information I can get #3 I'm dead serious about this build, It may not be perfect right now, but I'm working on it. #4 I plan on building this engine right. I'm a perfectionniste. I dont care if the engine cost 25-30000$ to build, I'm doing it right the first time. #5 Yes i'm only buying the car next year, but I plan to buy peice by peice until I have enough to rebuild everything. Just for facts: Or highest octane is 91 and 92 some places. I heard that its not the same rating systems as you guys (octane) Our import laws are 15 years. Mostly of them are located on the west coast of canada (vancouver) because its close to japan(duh) We start seeing R32 and more Gtst r33. A couples of guys in my town are buiding 240sx(k24a something motor) 150hp n/a but swaped in a rb25 with an gt35r top mount. Pretty nicem he did a lot of work on it. Thanks guys for your comments!!!! Thank you for your time. Just so you know lol I plan on buying the car in 2011 and drive it for 7-8+ year before doing a complete overhaul. Over the years i'll get the stuff and the skylines are starting to make their appearance over here.. so there will be alot of wrecks that I can salvage Nice. I was really a v8 guy all my life. My father build a 71 Pontiac GTO (frame off restoration) an 72 Nova etc. So it grew on me pretty fast lol. But I've comme to appreaciate the quality of japan engines and the work of their enginners... It's almost an obsession :S lol Anyways I really like your comments the were very helpful. P.S. You might have an air lock in your cooling system for when you flushed it. If so, try starting your car with the rad cap open. keep it open even afther the thermostat opens. this way the bubbles will eventually go away. Hope it help! Cheers!

I've been reading alot and I have my build all planed out (almost) I juste want you honest opinion about power, drivability, response etc. GTR R33 rb26 Forged internals New bearing Gasket kits.(looking for a good compression 8.5-8.4 opinion) tomei cam with a 260 duration (suggestions) Head work (valve porting) Fully balanced(crank etc) ajustable Cam gear??? like the old 4 degre advance key in a v8 350 which you can ajust full Exhaust 4" (if not good correct me) Garrett 2860-5's (yes I'm running twins) Apex fc computer (or which one is the best) Intercooler(heard that the stock one would be good, if not please tell) Tomei oil pump Bosch fuel pump (dont remember which one, but like the 044 or something. Ill do resesrch again lol) Splitfire coils Do I need an external wastegate or these turbos have the internal wastegates. And if the have the internal wg, should I upgrade to an external wg.
