Hey all, just thought i would introduce myself, my name is Bengi and i am from SA. I have recently moved here to work at HMAS Cerberus, so this means i needed a car here. I had a 31 in adelaide with the usual mods (rb20det, fmic, exh, basically a skid/track car) but just before i moved here it got stolen. the bug has bitten me again so i have just purchased a 1996 R33 GTST II, very clean and stock (mods will be very soon) I am a member of SAUSA and am thinking of signing up to SAUVic as well if possible. just want to get back out onto the track again and meet some new people and really just enjoy racing again any thing else i shall let you all know cheers Bengi

yeah thats pretty much it, car is not insured with RB20 and have just established that it was only insured for third party property, so unfortunately no insurance pay out but hey, at least i dont need a car anymore lol Cheers Bengi

cheers for everyone keeping an eye out, i think it will be long gone unfortunately, and the sad thing is i don't think i have the insurance to cover it. its not a huge drama as its only money and i can always earn more back to pay for something else, but insurance really would have helped in this situation cheers Bengi

hi guys, didn't know it i should hijack bish33's thread so i made another just letting you all know the R31 was stolen last night between 9 & 3 from Golden Grove. didn't realise til i woke up this morning that my parents hadn't moved it. its not the most distinguishable R31 except for the plates HELSLO, i have reported it to the cops but if anyone saw it last night a message or phone call would be fantastic cheers Bengi 0402565077 and a pic for reference

coilovers are engineerable if they are: 1) welded to the legal minimum height (or higher) 2) do not lose up to 1/3 (i think, an engineer can confirm this) of the original suspension travel from factory cheers Bengi

it definately depends on who you get, i go through fairly often (repairable writeoff and defects for customers) and i have only ever had one bad experience... my last one was a full roadworthy and we were in and out in 7minutes, yet there was a skyline there who was so low he couldn't drive it onto the hoist (and he came out with a second sticker. suprise suprise) he probably thinks regency are tools though cheers Bengi

i have been on my p's and import s13 should be the same as me, but i have been through both systems (i had my p's before p1 & p2's came in, and i am now on my p1's due to a licence loss) i have actually stained the window tint from sticking the little rubber suction cup onto my mum's cars windows they have been there that long lol

dont worry bout it too much mate, i have just turned 22, and i am actually stuck on my p's. i was given 3years with no points when i had just turned 18 (long story), then it got extended for no reason, when i went to get my licence back. i have to wait until june 25th this year to go for my p2 test, but because i have just gotten into the navy, i wont be able to sit the test, as i can only come back to adeladie on weekends when i am not rostered on. they also won't let me do the test early. my licence expires in december this year, which is when i was meant to be eligable for my full licence. all in all, i got used to it, i got dealt with the raw end of the stick, but i wanted to drive, and this was the only way cheers Bengi
