well if you do pinch lukes brembos, i am always happy to help you out with the fitting & bleeding etc, and aberax, as for the motul stuff, it seems to be the way to go, the going rate seems to be $50 per 500ml bottle, and unfortunately the only two stockists i have found are morpowa in modbury and autobarn Cheers Bengi

Soooo Steve. When you organising another one of these? the last one was fantastic Cheers Bengi

HIGHGLEN... Hi Glenn...inviting enough for him lol nah looks the goods bud, hope this one works out for ya
-
something like this would be great if we can get it off the ground. but as the current situation stands, we are currently paying to hire out and use Mallala racetrack (private track days). now this is money being spent so that i can do the right thing. i can't justify having to spend more money (that i work my ass off for) to give to the government to chase up on people doing the wrong thing. i understand where the idea is coming from, and in theory it is fantastic, but i'm sorry it just doesn't make sense to me that we should be forking out the bill for other peoples stupidity cheers Bengi (does what i wrote make any sense?)

and i just found this on carsales, a little bit saddened http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/privat...id=1275E6FDED8A

excellent, as long as there is enough room for a single bed, the GTR and a little mazda, then you are pretty much set. and i beleive we should use this as our new mainstream form of communication, it is so much easier to get into contact with you lol
-
fingers crossed...or fingers up ya jerk? at least its not far from where you are now, did it have a small garden shed out the back? if so its definately the one
-
good job luke, if it is anything like your gut feeling with the CTR then it it must be the one...

is there much we can do? its a basic question of where do you start? the government seems to want to start from the highest punishment and ban you from the roads for life, is this such a far fetched call? on a smaller scale for example, could we ban people who drive stupidly and do burnouts on cruises? ok we get their number plates, and maybe go to the cops and ask for a name, but then what? should we start taking a roll call at every meet, and then asking Johnny who did a skid at the last meet to leave, and drive cautisouly as he exits? we are unfortunately never going to completely get rid of guys doing this sort of thing, but the more of us who attempt to do the right thing can only hope to lead some form of example? Cheers Bengi p.s sorry bout the rant

yeah should be quite interesting to hear about the outcome, especially with the amount of things they could find to charge him for. i could rattle off a long list of thing, but can't remember the correct names to half of them

ah the perils of wiring, had that happen last week on me unfortunately, lost power to my stereo, removed re plugged and replaced and now it all works again. so yeah get that multimeter out unfortunately
-
if the wiring is still there and its not that flash hot looking (im assuming you use the car off road, by the pic) so the casing of the wiring may be cracked/brittle in a spot and broken, earthing out somewhere onto the body? just check you continuty of all the wiring first?

totally in agreeance here, i copped a defect last night as well (parked next to dave), so again doing nothing wrong just having to deal with teh tools stopping in front of people's houses to do burnouts. from now on i will be taking numberplates of those tools myself and reporting them, that way when we get to the meet point those are the guys copping the crap not the ones who pulled in, went to subway, and came back to a cop threatening to tow my car away. my two cents Cheers Bengi p.s also debating whether or not to leave the scene for good and join the Largs Bay Bowls Club
-
Haha, i thought about being a Heslo + 2 but being a follower (like glenn didn't really do much for me ), the starlet has recorded a best of 108.8kw @12psi on the morpowa dyno (know for being a little high) and i would guess it weights around the 900kg mark with me inside. You should bring the 205 out for the next day if i still have the starlet by then, so we can have mad front wheel drive battles Cheers Bengi

Hey Guys, Bengi Here Thought i would finally sign up, so i can thank kim myself for the fantastic day (and all you SAU boys who quite happily accept me into your track days). Was a fantastic day, destroyed 3 out of 4 tyres and boiled my brake fluid. the times i ran in the morning were a 1:37:x and a 1:36:x and in the afternoon i came down to a 1:29:3 which i feel is pretty good. like David said, catching the car ahead became an issue, not because i was quicker but because we were so close leaving pits and we were fairly evenly matched. on our final timed laps i was running behind one of the supras which was quicker than me on the straights but when we got to corners he was breaking way earlier than i wanted to and therefore slowing me down. but hey, on that lap i still managed a 1:30:x so i wont compain to much Cheers Bengi
