me n my two mates in r34s live around noranda/mirrabooka/landsdale area and we will be cruising to the event together so can possibly meet up with you if you want jimmy?
  4. got to an RAC/AHG trackday at the skidpan and long track if you havent been before, as its a good basis to start learning track work. I may be organising one at the start of next month open to skylines and i will be posting it in the events section so make sure you check this section in the coming weeks. Its a lot cheaper(bout $50 $80) than getting all your cams license etc sorted out and going to barbagello raceway, and the only requirements is a current drivers license and a helmet. checkout http://www.wascc.com.au/ for more info if you plan on doing some real track work. You will need a membership to a cams affiliated club such as wascc and a cams license in order to compete in trackdays and events at barbagello. all the info is on the site - antilag also hosts plenty of events throughout the year, although they aren't a cams affiliated club at the moment, but they are trying to change this apparently: you will need a antilag membership to be part of their track/motorsport events.
  5. gunmetal gtr was me also spotted a black 35gtr with Z**LA plates and a white R33 with aftermarket front bar, big wing and custom plates heading onto freeway north coming from hilaries. both looked sexxy
  6. both hyperdrive and ovaboost are really good. allstar is number one tho lol, but its hard to book as they are always busy!

  9. okay cool, im glad things are being done about it. hopefully will be a better turn around time now then =)
  10. Im not sure whether its just me, but usually my posts take about 1 week to show up/get approved by moderators in this section of the forum. I know the rules are strict on useless posts and bumps, but i just want to drop the price of my item, provide pictures or add extra information and it takes a week each time for the post to show up. It makes it really hard to sell a car on this forum. Other forums, only take about 4-5hours to approve posts and im not taking a shot at the moderators what-so-ever, just wanted to know if im the only person that has trouble with this?
  11. do it yourself man, best way to learn its not too tricky as there is heaps of write-ups/installation instructions on the net for installing fmic on skylines. Depending on what kit you get, will be the best judge of how perfect it will fit and the better branded ones come with instructions aswell. If you cant get it done yourself, I'd be happy to come round and give you a hand.
  12. We should organise a session for all the 32s on here, sometime in July maybe?
  13. depends which instructor you get, last time i dropped second and some people were dropping 3rd off the line. most of them are fine with it, but the instructor we got was lame
  14. Haha yeh, theyre works cr kai in 18x9.5+12 , the bronze suits a lot better than my silver XD9s I had before

So are we gonna be having any sort of SAU cruise-up on the way to this thing so that we can all park up together? Would be cool if we had all 32/R's, 33/R's, 34/R's etc and other models parked together at the event =)
  20. we shall see when they open her up as previous owner had no knowledge of what clutch - noob. if its still the standard then ill scrap it and get an exedy replacement. if its aftermarket i will get it machined. thanks for the help.
  21. Yeah they are a money pit for sure, its definately not worth f**king around with if the clutch that's in there is shit.l, but I have no idea what is in there. I'm getting a new clutch and the flywheel machined this wednesday at allstar. Should fix the problem, and stop any further issues
  22. I described the problem to allstar garage on the phone and they seem to think i need to replace the clutch completely due to it being fused to the flywheel. Are they right? Or is it just a matter of releasing the clutch from the flywheel? They generally know their shit, but I dont want to spend want to spend money on a new clutch kit if the current one is still useable, like if its still has plenty of meat left on it.
  23. any word luke? ive booked to get a new clutch put in on wednesday as my garage seems to think ive destroyed it when fusing it to the flywheel =/
  24. Exactly the same as me^ I didn't get a chance to check if it was fused yesterday but I think that is definately the problem
