I've transferred a car into my name before at the RTA without rego papers. As long as you have a signed receipt with VIN and engine numbers and the licence plate number, and its dated and signed it should be fine

I was told that they fit if you get different hinges, is that not right??

Aw thats not fair haha, last time I got pulled over in my 180 I got defected for putting my battery in the boot.. silly policeman tried telling me that no car has ever come out with it in the boot so I couldnt have it there. He clearly had no idea what he was on about!! lol
