  1. No ideas? Anything? How about maybe the master? Bent clutch fork? I dont care how stupid the idea may sound. Just throw me an idea and a way to check it. I'll give all ideas a try.
  2. Hey mate. I took mine out last weekend. It took me a while. But I got a puller and pulled it out. If that fails there is a post on how to remove it. They said to use a 16mm bit of dowl aprox 1mtr long fill it with greese and hit it. However i found the puller very effective Goodluck
  3. maybe the 2nd gear syncro? I had that in my corolla and thats what the diagnosis was. dunno if that helps.
  4. Hey all, I blew up my old gearbox and so i decided to replace the clutch. I bought a lightened flywheel, 10' heavy duty clutch, pressure platem, rollerbearing spigot bearing, new throwout bearing. I have a real light pedal. Clutch fully bled. All assembled. I have the pedal adjustment fully out to maxium travel. Still no clutch. The forks move about 10mm or so. No free movement. I bought a new slave cylinder as the old one sized. I cannot get this working and as I have 2 kids I cannot afford to send it to a mechanic. The car is on stands at the moment and i can start it in gear. Its like the clutch wont disengage off the pressure plate. The car is a 1988 Nissan Cefiro with an RB20DET. Some one please help.
  5. hi guys i was just wanting to know if anyone knew where i could chase parts for the power windows in my cefiro. I'm after the plastic clip on the regulator and the plastic spinal in the motor. So many places are selling these units "aftermarket" so these parts should still exist. Or the same type to replace it with. I dont really want to replace the whole unit. Any thoughts or help ? Thanks Michael
  6. no i build the bodies for busses on truck chassis' lol. i'm not that strong
  7. sry it was supposed to be rwhp not rwkw. momentary lapse in judgement. only reason i though i would ask here is because i have read quite a few topics and im not sure if i am REALLY reading the right material and if it is the the right problem or my solution. Thanks for your help.
  8. Hey thanks. I'm a motor body builder by trade so I only know how to modify and manufacture heavy vechiles. I just didnt know the right way to get a body kit on a car. I will follow what you said and might even put some pics up when done. I really appreciate you takin your time to help me Thanks
  9. Hey guys my RB20DET is not idling well in the mornings and I have look through the posts and I wanted to confirm that I should clean the ACC ? Am I right in doing so? Also Its missin around 2.5k but its ok when its hot and no problems over 3k. Is that just plugs ? And the cars done 200km would 10 - 40 be good oil for it? Also there are no clamps on the turbo from the air pod. the hose is just sitting there ... is that causing and problems? eg a boost leak ? I bought this car to repair and build into a 300rkw daily/drift car. Its at 220rkw atm at 11psi can i get it running and tuned at 14psi? it has a haltec e11 V2 a r33 turbo with a front mount. Its a nice car but i want to keep it legal as well as making it a head turner. Thanks.
  10. Hey I have an RB20det Nissian Cefiro and i was wondering about fittin my kit properly. Front bar - is it only the two screw in the top of the bar in the wheel arches that hold the kit on or do i have to make 2 more supports from the front mount? Side skirts - how do i keep the tops of the skirts level against the front guard? double sided take or a sika adheasive? Rear Bar - is it just the same as the front bar? is it just two screws ? When i bought the car the whole kit was zip tied on P.S. I know im not a skyline but it is full skyline running gear so I thought you guys would know better than anyone else. Cheers and thanks
