Hey Guys, Stagea for sale. It was bought in Dec 2009 from here Its a stock stagea except for a couple of things. 3" cat back exhaust but not noticeable in the cabin. Bilstein suspension. Older but professionally installed pioneer headunit and splits & amp/sub box (moveable) Last year I replaced the turbo with another stock turbo and got Spitfire coils installed (all carried out by UAS seven hills) It now has 155,000km on it. Hi Guys, Big time lurker here, but would appreciate any help i can get. Due to a hell of a year last year, i've neglected my poor stag and only serviced her once. Now as things would have it, i cannot afford to keep it so i have to sell her, but i want to fix a couple of things first. As i'm not much of a DIY guy, i need to take it places to get things fixed, but i don't wanna take it just anywhere and am looking for recommendations from those in the know. I live on the northern beaches of Sydney. Its a 2001 RS4-S.. Pretty much stock standard apart from a couple of minor mods 1. The rust under the side mirrors is a problem and i need to get that fixed on both sides. I'm figuring this will be expensive because they will have to match the pearl white paint, expecting about a $1,000 for this. 2. Both my front power windows don't work. First it was my driver side window which slowed down over about a month and then didn't move at all. When i tried to pull the door apart to find out what the offending part was, i wrecked the front passenger window as well. So i'd rather get someone to fix that than break anything else.. I'm figuring this will be fairly expensive as well, a few hundred $ at least. 3. There's an excellent thread on here about a random shuddering problem.. which i seem to experience sometimes in second gear. I'm putting it down to a front end issue, i'm thinking this could be quite expensive to fix as the problem could be a number of different things so i might just warn the buyer of this because its not getting worse. 4. A good service centre with people that know their stageas. I need a good service with proper oils. I need new front pads, and a new battery. I've got a great mechanic but the poor guy knows nothing about imports.. I would love to DIY with a lot of things, but i just do not have the time and i hate to not look after her. Any help and recommendations are really appreciated!! Cheers!

Hi Chris, I've just recently purchased a 2001 stagea and i'm on the northern beaches of sydney. I've got to get an "approved" immobilizer to be insured for theft under justcars. I've searched around a bit and got all sorts of conflicting opinions. I think what i should do is get a mongoose m80g, and get someone in to install it.. But with everybody saying they're the best installer and then hearing all these stories of bad installs, i'm really hesitant. Is the mongoose a good option, and do you have any recommendations for install? Many many thanks. Andy
