  1. Hey Adam, I’ve read Part III of “The Quest For More”, did you end up getting it all installed in the car with more lock? I’ve just started taking my S1 to the track and looking for more lock, so far it’s pretty standard in the front end apart from coilovers. I’ve seen a kit for the 32/33 from Garage 7 that looks alright but would prefer to swap spindles before installing one of these kits (http://www.garage7.com.au/home/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=2952&category_id=616&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=53 ) Regards, Kierin
  2. Thanks champ, that's very helpful. Do your tyres wear out fairly quickly? I'm leaning towards +35 up front to get the wheels in the guards.
  3. Cheers mate, Trying to avoid any panel work apart from lipping the inside of the guards. I'm hoping to find someone else who has fitted 10" wheels in the front of a Series 1 to see how they got it to work? The feedback I'm getting from Series 2 is that there is little modification needed, fits near perfect straight up. Is there any difference between S1 & S2 suspension components that would contribute to this problem or are S2 guards wider?
  4. Hey, I've read through many pages and it seems that 18x10+15, 265x35x18 should fit in the front and rear with manual rear subframe. I've tried fitting this size wheel to my C34 and it fits nicely in the rear but sticks out approx. 25mm in the front. What is needed to fit these wheels properly without running crazy camber and chewing out tyres, I'd like to have the same offset and width front and rear without pumping the guards. There would be approx. 25mm clearance on the inner side of the wheel. Any help would be appreciated as I'd like to order some new wheels soon Regards, Kierin
  5. I've searched for a bit for a wiring schematic but couldn't find any clear stagea specific ones, I just thought that others may have done transmission conversions and removed wiring with all the other gear. I would like to use the space it occupies and less wiring running all over the car would make me happy. Cheers
  6. Hello I've been doing some work in the rear end of the car and came across the attesa ecu. My car is no longer auto or 4WD, can I remove this and the wiring or is it still necessary for proper abs function, dash instruments, etc.? Cheers
  7. Thanks for the replies. I need the car up and running quickly so I will go with the short term solution of hard-wiring the stock fuel pump until I can investigate further.
  8. Hey Guys and Girls In the market for an in-tank lift pump that can support approximately 6-800 RWHP (C34). Car will not make it straight up but I like to avoid doing things twice. Already have an out of tank setup with surge tank using Bosch 044's. A supplier of proposed pumps would help so that I can purchase it quickly. Sorry for not researching this thoroughly myself, I only have a short period of time to look online when away for weeks at a time for work. Thanks in advance, Kierin
  9. Zorro These are some pics I took during the install, sorry mate, didn't get any when the wheel was off. Stock With BC BR Coilovers Regards Kierin
  10. Thanks Zorro Installed front only as low as they could go and it lowered it approximately 45mm, which left me with roughly 130 ground clearance. Spoke to supplier and they will sort it out and get GTR if necessary. Btw Zorro, guard height was approximately 665 at this stage. Will post pics if anyone is keen. Kierin
  11. It will be used as track only for a period, then brought up to legal spec down the track. My concern with the current coilovers is that if you wind the lower section with eyelet up as high as it can go it is not much shorter overall than stock shocks fitted in car at standard height. Kierin
  12. Hey guys and girls I just took delivery of some BC coilovers, BR series (6/8) for my S1 Stagea (auto 4wd). I have fitted a S14 rear cradle which shouldn't affect the choice of coilover. When i compared the front coilover to stock setup fitted in car, it appeared that it won't lower much more than an inch or two over standard. My question for you all is; will Stagea specific coilovers get the ride height lower than legal? I will most likely set it up at 100mm ground clearance but would like the option of going a little lower, should I have purchased suspension to suit a different Nissan model, i.e. R34 GTS-T, R33 GTR? Sorry for not researching this thoroughly myself, I only have poor mobile service and would like to exchange these coilovers A.S.A.P. if necessary before installing them in the car and accidently marking them and getting stuck with high ride height. Thanks in advance, Kierin
