  1. I've gotten my hands on a garrett 60-1 ,63 backend going to install it on a rb20det need some info on the turbo itself and what it can do .............Thanx
  2. im doin a e6x install on my A31 rb20 det im thinking bout using my original engine harness and just connect the haltech directly to the original engine harness or should i just build a new harness for the haltech...... i also need the parameters for the engine to start when im done can anyone shed some light on this..............?
  3. but the car idles funny i condemned the hose that comes from the recirculator to the inlet pipe in front the trubo....
  4. ok guys i installed the gt35 turbo but im still using my recirculator valve when i start the engine the valve opens slightly ant the engine idles funny i changed the valve and same problem is this a common thing and do i have to install a blow off valve with some sort of adjustment to rectify the problem and why does it do that??????
  5. fellas im having a hard time with w c35 laurel did an engine swap and make sure the wiring was good for the tranny, but the tranny pulls off on third and doesnt change any gears, i know that the wiring is very important for this to happen but checked everything but nothing......So i plugged in my carman scan tool to the obd1 connector and when i scanned the tranny i got CODE 10 VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR ENGINE & CODE 17 FLUID TEMP SENSOR now the speedo on my dash goes to about 80 an then falls of to 0 Im thinking if i change the speedo it might fix the problem but there is this fluid temp sensor code 17 that makes me feel i might be wasting time, thinking that the fluid temp sensor might be inside the tranny and thats a whole different i wouldnt really venture so far i need some advise ASAP!!!!!! Thanks
  6. im using the stock exhaust manifold the compressor bounces the manifold I was told that i need to make a plate to bring the turbo unit outwards anyone has any idea how thick to make the plate i would roughly say about a 3/4 inch plate......but im open to suggestions its in a r33
  7. when the nitrous engages my boost increases i know it would be logical because the nitrous cause the turbo to spool more.... but should it have such a drastic increase like for example from 10lb to 14 lbs after nitrous is introduced and can i controll the boost a little better....?
  8. hey fellas, I am getting a deal on 2jz tt and gearbox im not to familiar with toyota so i need to know what look for, im interested in the gearbox the present owner is saying its a 6fwd but i dont really know can anyone help me understand what im looking for and if there is any specific discription i should be looking for......... thanks...
  9. thanx fellas.... I'm usin a AEM wideband an already trim the injectors by about -9% at certain points of rpm but i heard that trimming fuel using a SAFC2 would automatically advance ignition ..... I'm not 100% sure about this.............
  10. Okay here's the setup, just installed NOS +Aeromotive regulator in my RB20det Just a SAFC 11. im trying to get close to the max power I can get with this setup, ~stock injectors ~about ten pounds of boost on a stock rb25 turbo uprise manifold (think it may go up by about 2 lbs while nitrous is activated) the jetting size I'm thinking about is .034 nos &.020 fuel (premium pump gas)for a 50 shot. ~I need to know if im using the appropriate jet size and can i use a larger shot ?????? annd could i use the cam sensor to retard and advance the ignition a little to suit... PLEASE ADVISE..................
  11. i'll Try That but what i dont understand if it is the ignitor!!! then why did the problem stop when i changed the coil packs... ill try it a let u know what was the outcome
  12. OK.. hear's the problem I'm a Proud owner of a 1993 Nissan Altima did an engine swap, Installed a RB20 DET Uprise exhuast manifold RB25 turbo with VG30 back end what is happening is when the engine is cold an i'm accelerating no probs,, but when the engine is hot ( After a Good PASS) it breaks up alittle when accelerating ...I changed all 6 coil packs and Every thing worked great for a few days, after a couple simultaneous PASSES on the Street...SAME PROBLEM AGAIN.. I suspect i have a Coil Pack Overheating Problem With the location of the turbo being the main contributor. can anyone help me rectify this and tell me if its a common problem Thanx
