  1. Looks like it may of been photo shopped to me, all the GTR badges just don't look right.
  2. To be bluntly honest, can't see it happening. We don't even have a club yet anyway. I'll be going, check it out, if anyone wants to go together or something though, mightn't be a bad idea.
  3. Yeah that's the shot. I'm getting a Front mount shortly, looking at getting a bomex kit the same, but probably just getting the front bar, some other side skirts and rear pods. Take my wing off.
  4. Doesn't look too bad, but there's no room in the bar for a front mount.
  5. Well I'm looking at getting a FMIC at the minute, i'm looking at getting a decent sized cooler as i'm looking at around 200rwkw in the future. So I don't want to have to do it again. I will be looking at getting a VG30 turbo in the next round of semi/major mods. Probably with a fuel pump in between.
  6. The 32 ECU's are remapable (to a certain degree) aren't they ? Cause I read in Zoom a while ago, with a fuel pump, boost valve (to 14 psi though) and a remap they got 160rwkw on a stock 32gts-t. Do you think a PFC for $2000 would be the best dollars spent though ? Currently all i've got as far as power performance is a catback zorst. Getting a bleeder shortly though.
  7. Is an after market chip really that good of a bang for your buck mod on a resonabley stock car ? Cause I'm looking at getting a FMIC in the very near future (as well as getting my brakes done, machined and new pads) and then upping the boost a bit with a bleed valve. Then hopefully getting the dump pipe/front pipe done with a 3 1/4|1/2 depending on how much moneys left over.
  8. Yeah, slip said you were getting a blitz kit put on...Should look schmick
  9. That's exactly what I'm after dude (or the one without the lights) i think ONARUN rang a guy in sydney for me, something like $350 for a bomex copy. I meant to ring him yesterday but never got a chance. I'll see if I can find the number again.
  10. Well I'm going down at the end of the year now, that's a definate, i'm driving down so I mean, anyones welcome to come.
  11. With the wheels thing, a guy bought it in to race in targa and obviously drive. He just let Wheels use it in the article as a loan car sort of thing. Wheels do it a lot with expensive and exotic cars.
  12. Didn't happen to sell for 1,011,000 Yen did it ? Works out to be like just under $25,000 plus orc and tyres ???
  13. Anyone heading out on saturday night ? I think I might treck down, going out tomorrow night so I might go for a drive saturday night...
  14. Well he said it'd cost like around $170,000 to get one in the country. But I wouldn't think it'd cost quite that much. Still, consider that with a twin turbo porsche or ferrari
  15. Unless you've got an SR20DET
  16. Oh I wouldn't say that...a ca18de one though...Not far off :uh-huh:
  17. The Gti-r is an awesome package, performance wise. They can look pretty tidy (nice one comes around near my work occasionally) but the fact it's a hatch and so small puts me off. That said, i would never bag, nor talk anyone out of buying one. And if you're gunna buy a hot hatch...make sure it really is a hot hatch :uh-huh:
  18. I think he did. Ask habibé, he'll know.
  19. Check out www.gtrcentral.com one of the kiwi SDU guys runs it I think...Not a bad site.
  20. Well there was on in Wheels a while ago, but the plates were GTR N1 looked similar except he had raced it in Targa Tasmania, he crashed didn't he ? maybe he got new plates ???
  21. Hey marvin, what can I say...Holy Sh*t. That's one awesome looking 32, and looks like she'll have the hardware to back it up :uh-huh: :uh-huh: How long till you get it on the road ?
  22. exuse me.............................................. God damn, carbon and GTR, is there a better combination :devfu:
  23. Can't really go past the 180's/S13/Sileighty/RPS13 And you pretty much can't drift a MR2 with any decent results, the mid mount engine throws it all out of whack.
  24. It's just to try and get people to meet up and get to know each other off the forums. And we all the know the BWCP is always just a short drive away, so meeting in brisbane first then cruising down is a possibility as well.
  25. I'd like to think you could get em cheaper, sounds a bit expensive for a bit of fibreglass like that.
