    Stock Rims

You won't be wasting tyres, the pan is covered in water and diesel. It on hurt your tyres at all, just gotta take it easy for a little while to let the diesel come off.
  2. Obviously had no Gunmetal ones then. Might try ringing around some of the jap wreckers up here me thinks.
  3. Ahh...Maybe, going to party after this V8 Simulator thing, if it's shit I might come down. Won't be till after 11 though.
  4. Thanks for the tip Oz, might look about buying a cheap 250 shortly. Very serious now...
  5. Well to the best of my knowledge, they don't make a 250 'catti and I ain't got that much money.... I think a 250, or even a 150 depending on money. Wonder if I went to like a Honda shop and asked for a test ride if they'd ask for my license ???
  6. This thread has seriously got me thinking about buying a 250...Gunna have to wait and see what happens in the new year. Might hold off on the mods now
  7. I'll get around to getting my license one day, i've got my learners, just ever bit of money I have at the minute has a place in the bank or for the car.
  8. Or you could do what I did, just make up something to slot in there. I had a GT badge off the side spare, so I got a bit of ply, a bit of 1/2 foam, some leather and made up a plate with the GT badge in the middle. Then Glued it onto the back of the casing thing. I'll try and get some pics up, looks pretty damn tidy if you ask me. Waiting to pull the skyline badge off the front of my car and put it on another one. Should look awesome.
  9. Where did you get em from biatch...Me wants some. And how much they cost ya ?
  10. Have you got any pics ? Are they the coilovers or spring and shocks or what ?
  11. Do you mean the GTR bar ? The V Spec one ?
  12. UAS Has a Bomex copy for $495, looks pretty awesome. Still not sure which way I'll go either, I love the trust ones too, but i'm pretty sure cam's is a trust copy.
  13. You can say F1 is a team sport...But in the end, it'll be schuie that takes the glory, schuie that takes the blame. No one cars who Ferrari's team manager is, who made the call, it came down to his choice, take the lead, or don't. And if he didn't pass ? They're going to fire him ? NO CHANCE IN HELL.
  14. Not saying it's bad, but it depends on how you drive I guess.
  15. Anyone got anything to add to this ? I still think it's a good idea. National Meet with no cars means a closer knit club. There's no escape :uh-huh:
  16. If it's $38 for oil and filter, I wouldn't think the oil is much chop. I paid $8 for an replacement Oil Filter. I would just use something else, round the 5w-50w range. I just put Mobil 1 in my car cause I didn't have time to look around for Redline or Royal Purple or nothing. Cost me $50 for 5 litres.
  17. What exactly is needed to make the Turbo back zorst ? I've already got a cat back which does the job, but looking to upgrade with the front bits. Now I've heard the words front pipe and dump pipe thrown around, but with little understanding of what they actually are. I mean, the concept is pretty simple right, exhaust gases come out the back... But basically, if I buy, say a HKS Front Pipe, will that go from the Turbo back to the cat ? Or does it need something else ? And what's the advantage of buying the HKS pipe over a local custom job ? And also price wise ?
  18. For $50 i would come along. Just to see what sort of league my car is in at the minute. And my personal opinion is, i think we should try and start to make club events, fair enough we don't exactly have a club yet, but this would be a great chance to get together and discuss what we in QLD want to do. That said, if anyone wants to bring someone along I don't think they should be excluded, just I'd like to start seeing some SAU events going.
  19. If it fits a 32 I could be very interested. How big is it ? Your car is NA isn't it Boxcar ?
  20. Yeah I know that, but I don't care, it was the banks money anyway.
  21. Well if you're not up for doing it yourself, i think mine cost me $400 or something, and got it done at Westpoint (Subaru of all places) they were pretty good guys and more then helpful. Only reason I went there is cause a guy I know works there and was gunna get me a good price but the boss came back before I could get it done.
  22. Well it depends on your situation, if you've got plenty of many, then buying stock and modding wouldn't be a bad idea. But if you're working on a some what limited budget, i would probably looking the best car I could with the most mods, if the car's been kept tidy, chances are it's been looked after somewhat by an enthusiast. If the car looks trashed, it's probably been thrashed. But if you're buying a modded car, try and budget that little bit extra for the un known. And the other thing with buying a stock car, just because it looks stock, you could also run the risk of it not being looked after/serviced regularly. That's just my opinion, but I think going through Geoff you'll get a pretty good idea of what the car is and has and needs.

I'm going to this V8 simulator thing next saturday, not sure what time it finishes but I could really be keen for a cruise down the coast if all goes well. Keep you posted on what happens.

Well I work Friday Nights. And the nights aren't long enough for both. And I'm only on P's so I'm 0.0000000000 ALL the time. Although, i don't think there's been a sunday morning spent in a long time, that the drive home was legal :shake:
  25. HAHAHA, before Drag Combat, at Mt Cootha, I spilt this Ice Coffee stuff on my shorts, looked like Mr Hanky, had it all day and all night, lucky I had a longish jacket
