Bah don't worry about, i'd love to know more then I know about cars. But you gotta start somewhere. Just watch and listen.

Give it a tow, it's gunna be your best chance to see if it's the starter motor or not. If you go into an NRMA/RACQ/V/What ever shop, they should give you a cover note and put you on the puter there and then. So anytime after that you're covered. But i'd really try and get it out onto the road and give it a tow or a push, give you the best idea of what's going on, and at least you can get around to the mechanics or where ever you wanna take it.

Have you tried clutch starting it ???

Sorry dude but I think you'll have to bite the bullet and it to a mechanic.

Could be the starter motor then. Either she's fried or slipped a belt. I don't think a fuse would have anything to do with it. If it's not even trying to kick over then I would think that's what it is. Does it even try to wind over or just nothing ?

Well it sounds like the battery, but i doubt the battery would just die like that unless it was something else. Either that or it's a shitty battery. If you jump start it, make sure you let it run for a good while, then when you turn it off. Make sure you've got someone with leads handy, try turning it on again, if it doesn't do anything then it could be something more serious like the alternator (or belts). When you turn the ignition on does anything come on at all ? If not then i doubt it isn't the starter motor. Although if the fuel pump is coming on then it may not be the battery. I don't know. But can you like turn anything on ? Like does the instruments light up ? Or the radio ?

Have you checked the alternator belts ? I don't think belts last too long in japan. I doubt it would be the alternator itself.

not that many, can't remember, i think it may have been changed at some stage by the guy I got it off. Not to sure, but it's all good. Once I get around to it I'll get around to it. Need to get a filter too though or else it's a bit pointless.

Dun know, I checked the oil when I got it, and it looked, felt, smelt and tasted alright.

Well I should probably change my oil when i get around to it. I'll get around to doing it one day. I have no idea what's going on.
