Had an R32 GTR about 8 - 9 Yrs ago. Spent 20K after purchase on pretty nice upgrades and general awesomness.. Problems with slack workshops promising the world and only delivering 6 - 12 months off the road.. and still not right (Was told it was a cracked head.... probably just the aftermarket metal head gasket now that I know more about these cars). Got offered 13K which I took under pressure from a 'workshop' that had it sitting there for months with no work done to get rid of the headache. So much anger right now. Very happy with an RB25 that I can work on now and get it professionally tuned. Ahhh all better.

I'll be out tonight if the weather holds.

Hi Team, I have a mate who is after a mechanically sound R32 or R33 GTST, 2 or 4 door which he can drive back to Qld. Budget of 5K for a registered runner or 7K for something nice. Body conditon not that important as it's going to be, ahem, tracked. Not looking to shaft anyone, but there are funds ready to go at a moments notice apparently. If anyone has some leads throw them up. Thanks, James

From memory you wont need new wire it's pretty long. Yes solder will work.

Don't try the gloves you need to get rid of the fuel if you are going to give it a crack yourself for the first time. If its too hard pay someone but a syphon is like 12 bucks. YOU CAN DOOOOO IT.

Yeah the 040 is the go. You will need a hacksaw and some patience. When I did mine I was over 105KG and it was a SOAB, as you need to be fully in the boot with your hand fishing around in the tank. I suggest syphoning most of the fuel out. My car runs over 270 RWKW with the 040 without an issue.

Give it a go yourself. The hardest bit is getting the cradle back on which is fidely. it should go back on easily if the pump and the brackets are in the right place. If it doesnt try adjusting the bracket. Make sure the tank is pretty much empty.

I would stay with the genuine one if I was you. I put an aftermarket metal one on my old R32 GTR and had nothing but problems. You will probably need to have the head prepped if you do go aftermarket. Not worth the hassle IMO.

Been there done that. This thing sits high and avoids scrapping on the bad roads, driveways and speedhumps. It's awesome and as its not lowered peeps don't think its modified until you blow past them. Gold. Hey Also where do I go to get a sig picture like yours Miguelone?

Has: 4 Litre Auto A/C P/S Cruise Control Near new front tyres Cargo Barrier Airbag 276,000KMs Has a few fixable issues such as the exhaust pipe is broken at the rear muffler, the electric doors work but they play up a bit (Still usable manually) and a bit of the interior is falling apart. Also it has quite a few dings. ACT Rego until 22/10/12 Need it gone ASAP hence the cheap price. PM me or 0413 88 44 08
