  4. Hi, Could someone please do this one for me: 6U9000 ECR33-102 247 Thanks!
  5. Spotted Sinista's car at Inline yesterday. That is a very distinctive 32 you have Richard!
  6. OK, For the Fanboys I'll keep it PC as my last post was deleted even though it was pretty tame and ambiguos. This was just over 6 Yrs ago, and those that know me, know I have had a lot of experience with fast cars. - Took my very expensive and heavily modified N1 spec (Not a real N1 but spec'd to that level) R32 GTR with slight oil leaking into the coolant. (N1 turbos, Cams, Forgies, Suspension, Clutch lightened flywheel, Wolf 3D, new head, all the extras inc $1500 Sound System) and was told Yes, we can help you! - Patiently waited for months for it to be fixed even though I needed it for work and had to make my partner get the bus, (I took her car). Yes she loved that..... NOT! - Called, Called and Called to see how it was going... I need this car back on the road. - No business like response was given apart from we will get there, and all sorts of excuses. - Approximatly 6 months in I called again and was given an offer (from memory) of $13,500 for the car un-running in the same condition as I had left it except with the bonnet taken off, parts of it taken off and a lot more dust. - As you can imagine I was under a lot of pressure from my partner and was in the process of moving so I took it... Pressure even to the point that the owner of the business came to the bank I had loaned the money from, and kept hassling me about how much I owed on it and should take that. - I naively did, to buy another running car to suit our 2 person working Canberra family. - I would never go back there. That is my experience. As I said before, take from that what you will. I'll probably get flamed for this post, but this industry and some operators need to realise that we NEED our cars when they say, not just when it suits them. If I ran my business like a lot of the motor repair industy I wouldn't have a job. Sure they are just 2 Guys as stated above, but if they are then why take on Jobs they know they can't complete???
  7. If Bayside Blue pls PM me with Pics.
  8. I Have a 33 seat in my shed if you need to borrow it.
  9. I can't believe you got the manifold off without snapping a stud!!! Did you replace them?
  10. Yeah it went from 161 RWKW to 262 RWKW so I'm pretty stoked. The little 3071 is out of puff at that power now though but with an old engine I think thats as far as I'll push the friendship.
  11. Hey Adam, You will be pleased to know the 3071 is now on the 4Door and making 262RWKW with a ViPEC. Pulls well and makes 16PSI dropping off to 14PSi at 7000Rpm. Cheers, James
  12. Spotted Sinista32 at ESP on Tuesday morning. Thanks for passing on my keys Richard, the 4Door is now puffing 16psi with a ViPec. Cheers, James
  13. You obviously don't know what you are talking about...... Mine went from 227 to 331RWKW. Made this with the above plus full exhaust and underdriven pulley. Plenty have made more................. Just check ls1.com.au if you don't beleive me.
  14. More win and more chins than a phonebook (as per pic) needed! I still love this thread! Keep it up dude!
  15. I had one... Did this... Pretty awesome with a cam only. Forget TT or blowing it. Not only will it be hard to fit you won't need the extra power. Mine made 325 - 331 RWKW with a 225 - 234 @ 114 cam... All you need friend!
  16. Ok. The thread guy came today and fixed it. What a relief , I was preparing myself for a head off job. He replaced a further 5 that broke after my 3 totalling 8 studs!!!!! So I have 12 new studs and am $264 lighter. It was worth it though as a tow or gasket kit would have been that alone. Win from a fail. Anyway thanks for the tips team.
  17. I've looked up Capital thread repair and will give him a call in the morn. Hopefully he is not on holidays yet or I'm screwed..... Ofcourse the car was meant to be going in for the tune tmw.... Ahh cars. Don't you just love em.
  18. This thread is full of win! Keep it up. Subscribed.
  19. Excellent. Will do tmw. I hope there is someone in Canberra that can do it. Any reccomendations? Yes easy outs. It was one of the studs that are hard to get to so probably wasn't straight. But the others came out easily so this one is just being a prick. Thanks for pointing out about the heat and alloy. Thanks.
  20. I have a big problem. I am putting a new turbo kit on my RB25. I have taken off the exhaust manifold to find 3 of the studs have snapped. 2 of them I was able to use a tool with a reverse thread and they pulled out. The last snapped the tool in the head. I then drilled that out (Took about 3 hours). But now I still can't get the stud out and I'm wrecking the thread. Can anyone pls give me some advice. It has been suggsted that I get a blow torch and heat it up and try again? But can you heat up alloy safely? Any input would be appreciated! Cheers
  21. I never want to that job again. But it works. Also, I found it was really difficult to get the pump back in, then I adjusted the clamp around and it went straight on. If I did it again it would take half the time.
