  1. thanks for all the support in sydney guys...was a massive task to get rh9 to syd autosalon... to just fall short of 1000kw on sat was our plan .. then sunday we had a large crack in the apexi drag intercooler from the end of the last run on saturday..very dissapointed to have a part failure same as in 2008... so on our final dyno run i decided to shut the wastegate rather than give up.. the result was blowing the entire end tank off the cooler.. after 6 dyno runs at autosalon with rh9 we are very happy to have zero engine probs .. cheers, mark

  3. just heading out to the final day of autosalon final battle..we def shocked a few people with the power figures.. ha ha.. we tried the nitrous on 1 run but was a bit much for the ignition system to handle.. today we are hoping to run just slightly more power to crack the magic number..lol keep you guys posted , mark godzilla motorsport..

  5. RH9 made 1326hp (988kw) at all four wheels without nitrous at Autosalon Final Battle. Congrats to John and Mark.
  6. i already had paid nearly 10 grand for the adl3 and e888 and egts with my m600...thats why i still have it in the car.. the vipec v88 logging now is very good for all forms of motorsport... i can now buy a vipec 8 channel egt amp for 580.00 and about 90.00 per egt this will do the same job as the e888 and motec egts which was 2000.00 odd..also we now do a great afr which uses a ntk 5 wire sensor and if you have a v8 it has afr 1 & 2 in the logging.. the adl3 dash is great but is an overkill for my logging requirements.. i log egts, wheel speed, clutch input shaft speed , afr or lambda ,and oil & fuel pressures & all engine data , all of theses can be logged just as well in the v88 logging.. if i didnt loose 1/2 my money on the e888 and adl 3 i would sell it all...and just use a 1200.00 racepack dash for gauges only.. oh and swiper the fox changed ecus and has split 2 engine blocks , oh or could it be something i am missing....going from 9.4sec passes to 11 sec ... doh.. its got nothing to do with the ecu is my point here... i think they are both awesome ecus ..as i tune cars every day... thats all we really need to here....one is in a gold box and priced like its is gold ... hope this helps...
  7. i removed my m600 and cdi and now run a vipec v88 and m&w cdi in the godzilla drag gtr ...runs the engine the same.. if it was not up to the job i would not run it on my 30grand engine.. hope this helps. mark godzilla motorsport..
  8. the car leaves the line under 7500rpm...so def not the rev limiter... john shifts gear at 9300rpm ...
  9. not sure if its the same car but its a full weight street r34gtr 1850kgs plus drivers weight...about 120kgs on mt drag radials... the car should end up running low 9s soon at high 150mph the way it is.. the main thing is john the owner is happy , he drove it well... cheers, mark
  10. just got the log out of the car now...wheelspin and over rpm in 1st gear were the cause ...2nd gear went straight to 10500rpm on the shift... the axles are fine... which basically means no slip in the clutch at all ..which softens the way the car gets down the track... 1.6 g impact into the wall at 50mph...oops.. car is being fixed this weekend should be finished next friday.... keep you guys posted...
  11. thanks for the support guys...we have looked at the data and the front wheels were off the ground in first and 2nd gear hence the sharp turn to the left when the tyre landed...4wd is a nightmare... car will be fixed in 2 to 3 weeks.. rear damadge is easy to fix...if it would have hit the front the car would have been a complete mess..right off.. our next event is on the 18th of sept at willowbank pro street shootout...we will be back .. with all the data from the weekend we are very happy...except for the crash..ha ha cheers, mark
  12. we are not testing today . i have 4 more cars to get ready for jambo... our day was mixed.. yes getting the power to ground was hard even at lower boost levels in 2 nd and 3rd gear unless we slipped the arse out of the clutch... we had on pass that went to 1200ft but the timer was set for junior dragster to read only to 1/2 track.. it went 5.13 at 143mph slipping the clutch ...good for 7.7 or 7.8 like reece went.. we have gone 5.00 at 1/2 before with the smaller rear tyres so there is a fair bit to come.. best thing was our 60ft s were all low 1.24 s all day... saturday we will be ready.. reece s gtr sounds awesome hope they go well today... cheers, mark

  14. its very exciting jamboree only 4 weeks away.. the heat treatment gtr is on its way from nz to race.. we have made some major changes to the car in readyness for this event and hope to be testing very very soon... hopefully bring the gtr and skyline records to aus...ha ha and will have spares for everthing we hope if we have any breakages...even a spare engine.. cheers, mark..
  15. after a big week in the workshop fitting and tuning the new vipec v88 ecu with m@w cdi ignition we made it to the winternationals.. on our first ever pass witht the vipec v88 ecu we ran 8.1 at 184mph witha huge bog of the line 1.55 60ft... 42mph from 1/2 track... 2nd pas we ran a 7.9 at 177mph we were up 4mph at 1/2 track on the 184mph pass when we had to backoff in the deep end ... then next pass we smashed the transfer case.....into 3 pieces.. we fitted brand new clutch plates to the aft 9inch slider clutch which put us way out...too much lock up.. and for the killer winternationals track we needed to take some front drive out also hence the transfer case is the weak link... it is all fixed now.. ready for some private track hire... cheers, mark

  17. our next event will be the winternationals at willowbank ... the car will have 2 engines from now on so we can push the little rb26 to the max... with the new turbo setup we have alot more boost available also... a few more carbon parts should see 50lbs of weight gone also.. refreshen the clutch , and a new paint job... we are very excited at the potential of the car ... it still runs on nismo engine & gearbox mounts.....ha ha .. cheers , mark
  18. 7.73 at 177 best time....new pb but clutch was lets say smoking hot....ha ha also 7.76 , 7.87 , 7.9 not a bad weekend....learnt alot .. best ever 60ft of 1.21 on a run we broke the rear diff centre on... regards, mark
  19. this weekend we are racing the gtr at willowbank in the 1320 event on saturday...testing this friday night before the event also.. then on sunday we have also entered the street machine street car shootout.. hopefully the weather will be great and so will the times... big thanks to harry , justin and derren for helping getting the car ready... will keep you guys posted... cheers, mark

  21. just got back from the summernationals in sydney... we had 2 runs before the rain hit.. 8.2 at 176mph with a 1.68 60ft... the the line lock was playing up and crept in stage on the 2step. left with no boost went 136mph at 1/2 track down 12mph....so 40 mph from 1/2 track is promissing.. went 1.6 60ft in the second run 8.1 at 174mph.. car crept again before i could even antilag it... anyway thats racing... we had it all fixed for the 3rd qualifier when the rain hit... bloody long drive for 2 runs.. ha ha
  22. we have entered to race at the sumernationals at wsid 11 to 12 feb .... all going well we will be there with the gtr and also looking after tony wedlocks 6 sec pro fx aurion racing in super compact aa/sm class.. cant wait.. regards, mark
