  9. disconnected the fuel pump n still the fuse for fuelpump blows ! Sheesh... Could it some funny drama sent by the ecu? Any idea?
  10. allright will try that. see if the fuse blows then. another method to diagnose further...
  11. nope did not... yes wwrong terminals as in what you mentioned.. everything else seems fine in the car, no other wire issues or accessory problem. only thing that goes wrong is the fuel pump fuse keeps blowing when ignition is on.
  12. Hi everyone, Ive got this issue with my fuel pump fuse. to keep it short and direct - we installed a new battery - initially did it the wrong way( wrong terminals) removed it in seconds! connected the battery properly (proper terminals) - then everytime we start the engine - it cranks but does not start. observed the fuel pump fuses beside the battery and realise its blown - replaced it and it blows again. in short everytime we replace the fuse and turn the ignition before even starting the engine the fuse would blow. Do assist please, its really frustrating how a simple task can cause such crazyness.. cheeers folk... in advance merry xmas!
